I’m having so much trouble getting my mind off the choppy choppers in the clay mixing thingy. I’m glad you made a special handle so you don’t get hurt. I’m all cringing about it 😬

Thanks for the studio tour. I’m always curious about how others setup their space. My basement studio is getting a good cleaning and I’m rearranging things to get the most out of my small space. Thanks again!

Great guide to great possibilities. It’s helpful to see what gets used in a different neck of the woods. Furniture heights etc.. also useful.

Thank you so much! Both parts 1 & 2 are very useful and informative. Do you have any information on the wiring or special electrical needs for a studio like yours? This would be very helpful cause I want to be prepare ahead of time. Thanks again! I really appreciate your being so open to sharing all your knowledge!!!

Have a 100 amp service panel at the studio is a good idea to get the kiln and the rest of it on there. Most kilns would be ok on a 60 amp breaker, pugmills 20amp wheels the normal 15amps.

Great video thank you. Can you list the manufacturer and model of the equipment you describe, like your new kiln and the pug mill (if not discontinued) ? Learning so much. This is great.

Appreciate info on why you like the L&L kiln. Would love to find a used one, but they don't seem to come up very often.

Do you find it hard to obtain insurance on the building with a kiln in it?
@timseepots

It was harder to find product liability because my items will come in contact with food. I went with the Hartford and my policy covers everything I do and my stuff.

@@timseepots Thanks! I am an experienced soap and skincare maker but pottery has been my first love since college and I just took my first in person class last Monday....needless to say I sucked at centering...LOL! Your videos are super helpful. We are building a new structure this summer to house my business and I really want to create a space during the build for the wheel and kiln so I don't have to plan it all out after the fact and insurance is always such an issue! Good point regarding the fact about contact with food!
