In this vlog I am working towards wrapping up a sketchbook and make progress with two more paintings. One of them I decide to make a big mess on purpose so I can see if I can resurrect it and the second painting I paint from an old painting and I love how both of them turn out - I hope you enjoy it! I love the idea of creating a piece, then messing it up intentionally. This is a great way to challenge my creativity so I can learn to problem solve. It also will help me to deeply look into my style and determine what I like and what I don't like. And maybe most importantly, it will take the pressure off of me to create something "perfect", teaching my A.D.D. brain to relax and enjoy the process. Isn't that what creativity is all about?! Thank you for uplifting my spirit!!! Love you and your art.😊💛

I miss your life vlogs, too, from early in your KZfaq when we went to the art store and for donut dates with you and Grady! Lifesaving in the pandemic when it was like going out with friends (but from home). You’re the best!

I love seeing a new sandi video notification pop up on friday, then I saaaaaaave it for a time in the evening when I can watch it just for myself. No kids bugging, no partner grumbling, no one needing anything from me. Then I can really enjoy. Thank you Sandi!!

Sandi, I just can't tell you how much I adore your videos. I wish they were longer. I could watch for hours and be amazed at what you draw and paint. I love watching the process and hearing how to come to your decisions on paint, sketch, color. Your happy face while you paint just makes me smile. Just found you and loving your amazing and beautiful art! I recently began to watercolor paint to help me with my grief and then your videos 'exploded' into my life. Sandi, I could watch you paint for hours. Seriously. Not only is it relaxing but it’s so interesting to see how you make marks and get an idea of how your brain works. Love the laying process. I think I loved it every step of the way, but the end was just … wow!!! Fab video!! Can’t wait to see your camping work. 🙌🏻🧡

I'm going to revisit your vid on loosening up. You are so fearless and willing to paint over hours of work till you're happy with it. I wish I was that brave. I get feeling very precious after a certain amount of time working on a piece and that leads to frustration and eventually abandonment of the work. Your work is just so bright, balanced, and layered. I ❤ it!!

I too have been binging your channel. It's freed up my own practice as I learn how to paint. I love your video production, your content and your style. I've discovered so much about myself and my own practice that existed but only after seeing you embrace the way you do things. And I have taken on the practice of repeating the same painting because once the content is familiar, I can explore it with other mediums so much more confidently. Honestly Sandy, so glad I discovered your channel the past couple of weeks. Also love the glimpses of your husband and your dog and all your funny sayings. Solid content. Thanks again xo

I have been dealing with my 89 year old Dad’s ICU stay over the last few days. He has lived independently his whole life. He will be transferred to a nursing home soon. I cried all the way home! I saw that you had a new vlog up and watched. I must say, you brightened my 62 year old soul! ❤️ Thank you!
