I'm super excited to find this interview with Stephanie - it's my birthday in January and this book is the perfect gift along with her course that I just purchased "Perspective For Painters". I've discovered through Stephanie's interviews with Studio 56 that my idea of sketching houses from photos is not technically considered urban sketching! I'm so excited to learn as much as I can about urban sketching and how I can develop my own style and actually go out and about in the beautiful Puget Sound I live in to begin this wonderful journey - Thanks to Stephanie and Studio 56 for the best birthday presents! Yay for me lol P.S. If I ever get to meet Stephanie I'm hoping she will sign my book for me, it feels appropriate with all the passion she has put into it. Absolutely, since I started urban sketching, i find beauty in sooo many things! Esp the older parts of town (i'm in Seattle) like Ballard and Upper queen anne, etc. The contrast between the skyscrapers and old brick buildings downtown, the old rusted structures of gasworks park!! Just the houses in my neighborhood! EVERYTHING!! I love it and thank you for this book, I'll be ordering it soon!!
