Wow. I'm so glad I stumbled on this. This is exactly what I want to do, but didn't know how feasible it is. I want to start my studies, then after the first semester, come back to nigeria to get married. Then go back to continue my studies and bring in my spouse. Thank you so muchhh❤

Hello Pascal, thanks for the effort you put out here to share these information to us, it’s well appreciated. I have few questions I need clarity from you please… 1. Could please ask ‘GB’ the timeframe in which he applied for the SOWP after his court marriage with his wife? Could it be 1week or a month after the wedding or so…? 2. Was it ‘GB’ that applied for the wife or the wife did applied herself? I look forward to your response as usual. Thanks

There is a certain amount expected of everyone but in this case because the husband is here, it might not be a big deal. Everyone needs a POF.

Yes, they can last from 18months to 2years and more depending on how long your coop is.

Almost immediately and if you have enough financially, you can all apply together and come to Canada.

You can come with her, it is best you get the work permit that is through her rather than a visiting visa. That way you will be able to stay and find a job here.
