Hello jack Good day, I paid 4000£ before I deferred my admission now I want to pay 3000£ balance , I just want to ask if CARDIFF MET now make it compulsory to submit POF document before getting CAS as this was not the case last year ? Thanks

Hi Esther, thanks for getting in touch and good to hear you’re still planning to join us. For cases such as yours where the requirements have changed since you deferred, there will be some flexibility, however I’d recommend discussing this directly with the CAS team. All the best, Jack

Helo jack! You added that the person who studied his bachelor degree through the medium of English are exempt from IELTS, I applied for january 2022 intake and the offer i received was Conditional however i provided the english proficiency letter as well. Will you explain wat is the reason that admission team did not consider it.

Hi. The MOI is something we would accept but it depends on your high school english, and where the programme was studied. Trust the marketing team would have assessed based on the information provided and communicated to admissions

How long does it take to get admission into the school? The agency working on it for me has submitted my application for over a month now and I haven’t gotten any response yet.

Due to some circumstances I deferred my admission to September after paying my AFP of 4000£ for January intake.. in what month will I get another CAS so as to enable me start my visa process early so not to get choked up like what happened this time.

Thanks for getting in touch Esther. At this point I'm not sure when the CAS Team will start issuing CAS for the September intake. However anyone who has deferred and paid their AFP will be contacted nearer the time to ensure they can receive their CAS as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience! Jack

It's really informative vedio I'm doing IELTs for start study again in UK but I want to know that I can also take part in this process without IELTS I've got overall 68% marks in graduation but after graduation I was take gap for 2-3 years now I wanna start again my study plz tell me In which university i can take admission

Thanks Samara! Each university will have a different policy, but it sounds like you may be considered without IELTS. However you'll also need to show your High School English score. If not, it sounds like you've got started with IELTS, so you've got a couple of options at least! Good luck!

I just wanna know about some without ielts proceedings of Cardiff met. i got 81 marks in my English 12th grade and i did my graduation in computer application and i scored 62% ... I want to do MSc data science in Cardiff metropolitan University ... I'm confused about this without ielts process i did some mail in this UNIVERSITY regarding to get some information about this but i didn't get any response yet ... Am i eligible for this course! Through without ielts process?

Thanks! With your 81 in 12th English, you should be eligible to study the MSc without taking an IELTS test. I hope that helps!

I obtained 89 marks in my English 12th exam,i also have a medium of instruction in English letter available,i applied for MSc in advanced audiology . Do I require ielts inspite of all these available documents? Im from india …please do reply

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry not to reply sooner. The MSc Advanced Audiology course has a higher IELTS requirement of 6.5, so it is the Course Director's discretion whether or alternative evidence can be used. However with a score of 89 in English 12th and an MOI letter you could be considered for the course without IELTS. Good luck with your application! Jack

Do CMU offers its own English laguage test to Indian students ? And do CMU accepts students having 10 years of academic gap with having proper gap justification of work experience of 10 years?

You would be able to apply with a 10 year academic gap, as long as you can show your work experience during this time, and the course you are planning to study is relevant to your career progression. We are able to accept your 12th/UG medium of study english, if your marks are high enough. If not, we don't currently run our own test. This may change in the future. However.

Thanks for getting in touch. We don't have a January intake for the MSc Biomedical Science at Cardiff Met unfortunately, the next intake is September 2023. You may well be able to use your 67% English 12th instead of IELTS, however it will depend on your overall profile, so the Admissions Team will let you know for sure once you've applied. Good luck!

Hi , i got my offer in january which i have deferred in sepetmber intake. They asked me to remind them in february. I have emailed them but still no new offer letter. My course is msc occupational health , safety and well being. After how many days they issue new offer ?

Goodmorning 😊, how many unconditional offer letters can a student respond too? Is accepting more than one offer letter from various universities an offense ? Reasons for acceptance could be your preferred university emailed an offer letter late, just after you’ve responded to your lest preferred uni. Please do respond 😊 thanks

Hi Rachel, thanks for getting in touch! If you are applying to universities directly, you can receive and accept as many unconditional offer letters as you like! Until you have paid your deposit, you are not fully committed to a university. And as you say, some universities may take a little longer to respond to your application - especially if the Course Director is assessing all applications directly, as opposed to the Admissions Team. So don't worry - and congratulations on receiving more than one offer! Jack

You may be able to use this in your PhD application, however every university has different requirements for PhD level research. You would need to discuss this with the institute you are submitting your proposal to.

Thanks for getting in touch, sorry I haven't replied sooner. There have recently been some administrative issues with the ELLT test that mean it is currently suspended from being acceptable. Should this change again, we'll announce an update. Thanks for your understanding, Jack
