In the past tense, when using an être/VANDERTRAMP verb and a direct object pronoun, does the verb agree with the object or does this only happen with avoir verbs in the past tense? For example: j’ai retourné la fleur -> je l’ai retourné or je l’ai retournée ?

“La femme invité sa voisine” If this sentence has to be changed into cod it will be “La femme l’a invité sa voisine” Because it is in past tense so you have missed l’a here.
