Great showcase, the loader now actually loads a round into the breach of the main gun. Wonderful animation that ads to the total immersion of the sim!

In Churchill tank you can see the smoke grenade loading to be the same and that smoke grenade look like a fin stabilized mortar rund. Side note yes you can kill german tanks with a Churchill. Wit a Panther yuo need to avoid head on engagement but you can kill them by side shots even from funky angels. And yes you can penetrate the Tiger even trough their frontal plate inside 500 meters. You need to outsmart them like a hunter but yes you have a fighting chance.

I wasn't, it was prerecorded footage.

Rip, I didn't realize it until now. That footage was from the il-2 recorder so that might be the culprit. If you're playing in real time, you'll hear the full startup process and the engine's roar.

So, do Machine guns actually work against infantry now? I feel like the gun shield is pointless if it doesn't.
