You can use commander interface (the one activated by press tilda) for indirect fire in SPGs, there you can set angle and range, and command gunner to start or stop firing.

Crazy to think that before helicopters we had gliding death traps for troop and equipment transport. I am really looking forward to flying this and the C-47 as I got them both a little while back, but I've been so dang busy I just haven't had time yet, so I suppose I am living through you yet again 🤣. these crashes are actually too gentle. When they touch the ground they'd collapse and tear, spilling fuel out everywhere. Crashes at speed leave a trail of aluminum pieces and fire.

Nice job! How are you calculating the gun's angle? I tried replicating this in quick mission on arty at 3000 meters. Put in the range, setup the level, tank facing correct azimuth, but when I watched the replay, no rounds landed in the area. I'm assuming my barrel is too low or too high but not finding much on that.

Well, it seems like you're doing everything correctly (assuming you set the correct range). Perhaps you're not aiming the crosshair at your target? In the video, the target covered a large area, and the terrain was super flat, so it was quite easy to accurately set my crosshairs on them. On uneven or hilly terrain, you'd have to compensate for it and slightly readjust your sight. Another factor could be the wind. Maybe you have the wind set to max?

I feel like a lot of these could've been survivable if the pilot hadn't put the landing gear down and made a soft belly landing

Yeah. I can now speak from experience as I got GB a while ago. When you ditch in a field, you're more likely to survive a smooth belly landing than a wheels down. Because even if youtube videos don't show it, flipping onto your canopy IS lethal usually in GB, it's like the weight of the fuselage crushes the pilot. You can't exactly duck your head lower/brace or whatever ingame, so yeah. Canopy hits the ground, kinda means your head hits the ground.

Cheater, has increased the performance characteristics and is fighting with bots? The Yu-88, rear gunner, would have riddled you, just like the Tu-2.

It was a high-altitude fighter designed to counter American daylight bombing raids, and didn't really achieve that below 22K feet. Considering that IL-2 doesn't have heavy bombers let alone the existing high altitude airframes to necessitate it, the addon is entirely moot. It's likely they chose the Ta 152 as a Collectors bird because it required minimal work on their part as all they had to do was modify the D9's existing model geometry via Max/Blender. They didn't have to create an entirely new aircraft from scratch with entirely new systems, components, animations, etc. And they knew it would sell... It serves no purpose in the game as it can't operate as was intended. I can't believe people shelled out money for this.
