Oh I love woodpeckers! The downy is the only woodpecker that I get at my feeders and they are adorable! I get a red belly once in a blue moon ☹️ wished I could get more….

Yes I have heard of them, but so far none at my feeder. It would be awesome to get them though

@@BirdsWalkingDown I have been feeding birds for 30 years and I have never had one at my feeders very disappointing. A long time ago I found a big bird dead in my yard I wasn’t really into birds then so I didn’t even know what it was. I looked on web and it was a pileated I was so upset cause I think a cat in my neighborhood killed it. It was sad. Maybe one day I will get another one. 🤞🏼🙏🏻
