Goodness, oh my sweet goodness. How does one find the words? Such a magnificent voice. Such a gorgeous song (one of my all-time favorites). So wonderfully performed. I love how she comforts the woman who is crying while she finishes the song. Like witnessing one of heaven's most precious angels hugging our very souls with divine music and precious love. Thank you for sharing this video with us all.

You will find many of these talented singers and musicians in performing in most major city centres. Most of them are studying their music at local universities and perform publicly to receive donations, to subsidize their tuition and to practice performing publicly. True music lovers should always appreciate their gift, so even if you cannot afford to donate a few coins, whenever you see performances like this, please stop, smile and encourage them. They deserve it.

There was a famous occasion in 2007 when Mr Joshua Bell turned up to busk with his Gibson Stradivarius violin at a Washington Metro station. They thought that over 1000 people passed him whilst he was playing, but only 7 actually stopped and 27 gave him a total of $52.17 😊😊😊

4 AM KZfaq find. Beneath the surface of the performance I wonder at the indifference at the passers by. Kind of a metaphor of our upended world where good is considered bad and bad is considered good. It is the rare person who can still recognize up from down.
@michaelkessler1293 жыл бұрын
Gregory, what you've said here speaks for me. I watch a lot of flashmob performances, some of which are absolutely stunning, and there is something rather bizarre about the way so many people simply ignore the marvelous gift they are receiving and just keep walking and jabbering rudely as if it wasn't happening. As you've observed, this behavior is evidence of a seriously damaged aspect of our culture.
@surgeclemency50863 жыл бұрын
@@michaelkessler129 This is not only about the culture though. It is true about the whole human race that is preoccupied with its self-survival or petty interests, or superficial objectives. You are, probably, more culturally inclined than the rest (or possibly you have not been much exposed to opera performances thus you value them highly), so you may feel flabbergasted by the indifference of the shoppers on the street. My point is this, and I don't mean to accuse you of anything, first self-reflect and see what "valuable" things you ignore in your life, what you are missing. Those shoppers are just a reflection of what the whole world is up to. Life itself is a beautiful thing. And many ignore it as if it is not happening. Who knows, maybe, some derive greater value from getting on time to a meeting, having a nice conversation with a friend, or just rushing to the next shop to buy a new T-shirt, and can't be bothered by what some regard as an angelic voice -- who are we to judge?! Imagine a nuclear physicist staring at this singer with disgust for her ignorance of quarks or the string theory. Respect all forms of expression of life as long as they are not wicked, degenerate, or abusive. Ignorance, short-sightedness, and superficiality are but relative values.
