Hi, it’s Borage. Bees love it. If you grow some it spreads well. It’s great for so many things including making a super organic fertiliser either by steeping in water or mixed in your compost pile.

Wow, that project alone was so labor intensive! Andy is very skilled (shout out to Terry too) and is a delightful hard worker. Yes, the results are great and blends in with the surroundings as it should. You'll be so proud/delighted every time you step on or sit down on those steps. The pooch was such a cool supervisor enjoying his laid back position and I think the kitty's are going to be checking it out when he's gone!

I just want to say it is beautiful and you two work just as hard as the people you hire. I am so excited to see how fast it is going. VINCA.... gotta look up that spelling. If you put plugs of this amazing ground cover into the hillside area, it will form a massive root system to hold back the dirts from slidding into the driveway on rain drenching days. Has beautiful purple flowers for the local forgers, and all you need to do is cut it where you don't want it. Can mix in the silvery ground cover also for a shimmering effect like a waterfall made of plant greenery. Will make another fireline, too. I must win the lotto so i can come visit all you wonderful folks, my kinda peoples! ( may take a few years to fill in but SO WORTH IT!)

Weee...I also have goldenberries growing in my backyard in Florida. The edible plant Andy brought that you consumed is called Borage (Borago officinalis), also known as starflower. The leaves are supposed to taste like cucumber, the flower having a sweet, honey-like taste, and the leaves can be used to treat swelling, inflammation, respiratory complaints, and melancholy. What an incredible job Andy has done with the enthusiastic help of Drew, and "project manager" Brittany. Andy is such an incredible wealth of knowledge when it comes to concrete. The steps and back patio look INCREDIBLE. I hope you have made a friend for life in Andy.

Everything outside is looking beautiful. Andi is some Mason, he really makes beautiful work. I just wanted to bring it to your attention that there’s a KZfaq channel called Raising Voyagers. There are a couple that live in Italy and are doing a makeover on a barn to make it their house and they’ve been building walls with stone with these two Italian masonry guys and it’s just beautiful. They sit there and chip away at large rocks to make everything fit beautifully in the wall. You need to see the work it’s amazing. I’ve been watching you guys for a long time and been fighting cancer for 11 years. A bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma and then I was just diagnosed with MDS, which is another blood cancer that my bone marrow is not producing blood so I go for transfusions of blood and platelets every Tuesday and Friday, so I’m watching you guys on KZfaq a lot. It’s gonna be a tough road because I had 11 years with multiple myeloma and now I start again with this cancer. It’s never ending battle. Love you guys❤❤
