Very cool Kevin. I received my Akubra Federation IV Deluxe (my first hat) yesterday and immediately did the bash. I think it turned out great, thanks to your videos and tips. I would sure like to see a video about the subtleties to look for when shaping a fedora. The things that separate a great job from a good job. THANKS FOR MAKING AND POSTING THESE VIDEOS KEVIN!!

How old do you think that hat is? I bet it’s better quality than the new ones.

I’m not sure, it’s old.. I’m not a Vintage enthusiast so I don’t keep track of things like that , it had a much shorter brim, higher crown than a modern whippet
