Great video and a very clear explanation for everything. If you break the top three tabs do you have to get an enitre new “cabin intake duct” or are those somewhat on a detachable unit?

I bet that job is $75 at the dealership. Your filter was pretty clean for 29k! I do my filter every 10k and it’s filled with all sorts of debris! 😃👍

The air flow comes upwards , so if you place your hand in the gap, the air hits your palm . So I’m still confused with the filter myself in my Leon FR and my Tiguan . Do you put the arrow pointing at the airflow , ( the writing upside down ) or upwards in thd direction of the airflow ?

It seems like aftermarket filters need to have the writing upside down.

@@stuntcardriver Just checked my wife’s Tiguan Not been changed in 4 yrs and it goes to the main dealer !! Just took it out and it’s filthy . Bought two Bosch ones for £22, same size for my Leon also . Happy days

I accidentally broke the top slots, which part do I purchase now. Could you please tell me the name of the housing that holds the filter

I am not sure what that would be called. I would go to the dealer with your vin and have them look it up. They can give you the part number and then you could search online for a better price.
