I will be doing a Haldex fluid/filter screen change very soon. Just hit 30,000 miles. VW recommends change the fluid @ 30,000 miles. It's cheap and very easy. Did it on my 17 Alltrack already.

The dealer changes it every 30k km but i think it should be sooner. The area I love in has a lot of dust and sometimes sand stormes.

I'm not 100% sure but I dont think the auto trans in the mqb tiguan is "serviceable". I could be wrong.

I removed the snow catcher inside the air box on both my MK2 Tiguan and MK7 GTi. Sounds better; more air too

How often do you change the air filter?

I do mine once a year. Less than $20 and 5 minutes, it's cheap easy insurance.

Why so many screws?. Why so complicated when all they needed was two small metal clamps on the side like other brands use. They want to make it harder for the average Joe, just to create a revenue stream over a simple filter. Obviously they don't care about the customer anymore.
