That members of byrdgang mixtape in the summer of ‘06 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 i just KNEW bundles was up next. I just KNEW he was next up in New York. I was FUCKED up when he got killed cause he was on his way. He was right there. One of the biggest “what if’s” of all time. I’m still hurt about it. R.I.P. Bundles.

That was a special time in hip hop but especially in NY. I remember meeting Stack at vinnies downtown Brooklyn, where he often shopped at. I think he had just finished shooting a dvd. And me and my man went over to speak to him. He was a cool nigga. Had great energy. He had the Porsche sitting outside. He had just got it a couple weeks earlier. I remember him asking me n my mans opinion on some jackets he was buying. I was heavy on the set n byrdgang at the time and was a fan of him. I’ll never forget that day. He was nice, next up, and if u was in the street at the time them bars hit a lil bit harder. Me and everyone I was around at the time was hurt when he left. RIP G’z. A young legend

@@tyriqnobles6959 man, that’s a dope ass story!! Me being born and raised in Detroit, I’ve always been a hip hop head and i look at New York as the Mecca so I’ve always been locked in on NY. I even put my boys up on bundles because i listen to him so much. I was telling them he was from far rockaway queens and they wondered how i got hip to him because NY and Detroit are SO FAR away. That byrdgang mixtape did it for me. I was a fan ever since. I had to go back after that and listen to the clue tapes and the riot squad shit. He had superstar qualities but you could tell he was a cool ass nigga like you said. He had that “it” factor that you don’t see in hip hop that much. I was so stunned when he got killed like naw, not stack man. I’m still hurt about it.

I can NEVER understand the mentality of not being able to leave your hood... As a buzzing up and coming rapper no less. These are the same folks on Instagram flexing Hundreds of dollars, Always got the latest Foot Locker kicks, Has a decent Luxury used car, Respectable Chain on etc... BUT Fails to buy a $150 bus ticket to another state to ensure he doesn't get Killed... Stay with a Auntie, Cousin, Girlfriend you trust just til they get a Big bag or better.... Not that hard to do for a Rapper, I recently moved from Atlanta to Las Vegas with like $3,000 I saved up working in Nursing homes 😂😂😂😂😂

Muyanzi Reid it's not that he didn't wanna leave his hood cause he could and he did . He own spots out of town and would frequently leave whenever he wanted . But when you really from ya hood , and ya family name holds weight their for generations , and you yourself is loved and you really out their running things . It's hard to just leave and damn near impossible . That's why he was pressing them labels for that million dollar contract just to get his 🐾 💦 Niggaz that ran N.y. Power Structure prolonged his career til he died .

Im just gonna say it: New York hasn't and I won't think it will for a long time recover from the deaths of Stack and Chinx. There were artists like Bobby Shmurda and Pop Smoke (who I imagine Stunted Growth will do videos on later) and they were cool, but they didn't have the charisma or lyrical wordplay like Stack and Chinx. No one from NY really has that nowadays anyway.

Man I ain't gone front this channel just popped up one day and I've watched about 12 vids so far. I will say, straight up. I'm a true hip hop fan, artist, writer, engineer. I make beats and show ppl how to use professional equipment and software. Some ppl told me I'm not rich because of the stuff I chose to do for free. Idc. Life isn't what I once thought it was. But frfr. For this stack video. I'll subscribe to this channel. Most of what I've seen on this channel is from my era. Nice work. Let's see some more. What about Dead Prez. And JKwon. Wutang members. Stuff like that. I'm sure ppl 30 and older would eat these vids up 👍

It's ok to be proud of your accomplishments but never wear your financial status as a badge, especially growing up in an area where he grew up, he should have known showing off his luxury cars was going to be a problem. You don't do that in a area where people are faced with short comings. He should have waited till' he got out then show off. It's sad to do that but people will be people. Sorry that happened to him, jealousy hurts.

Stack Bundles was one of my absolute favorite rappers in the 00's ..him and other MC's like Cardian...Petey Crack .. 4Eyez.. Field Mob ..Da Knuccleheadz ..Squad Up etc.. were like the "oddfellows" of HipHop .meaning all had Goatlike vibes/energy because of their hightened level of skill but something kept them all from evolving into what each's potential projected them all to be !!! But to all of us that were fortunate enough to.comr across their content ..KNOW WTF'x Goin on ..they was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is one of the saddest stories I ever heard in hip hop. I only heard of Stacks briefly before he died. Then after he died, I heard more and was baffled when I heard he was killed. I also, on another channel, read a fan comment about him, a person who claims to be from his hood. They typed that Stacks stayed in the hood, with jewelry and fly cars to actually INSPIRE people in the hood to "come up" and do better. The person said that he wanted to be a real life example of success in his hood for inspiration, not bragging. The story of one of his own friends killing him AFTER he prevented a robbery not only shows how good of a man he was but also shows how greedy and sick his friends were. Sorry to hear that happened to him. Rest In Peace, Stack Bundles. And yeah Jim was using him, smh. I personally never liked Jim Jones. He seemed to be a hanger-on of Cam in the beginning, because his raps were just never really good. Jim was the weakest to me in the entire Dipset.
