@@Shadow.24772 I mean, yeah, she CAN dodge. But she's still saddled with the low evasion of a backliner. Coupled with medium armor, which reacts the worst against AP shells, if she fails the dodge (and tbh, never seen my Amagi dodges Warkai like, ever) it'll hurt a lot. I find it more reliable to just bait the shots with Izumo while Amagi snipes another backliner with her skill, while Nagato just doing her own thing.

There's the newly released Shinano. Imagine what she must be like if WoWs launched her. To give you an idea, Shinano was designated to be one of the four Yamato-class battleships launched. The fourth was never laid and Shinano was redesigned to be a carrier. However, Japanese engineers f***ed up while making her and left the three massive barbettes in the same deck as the hanger. This meant she had thick as hell armor but only had space for a freaking THIRTY PLANES. American carriers like Langley could hold at least 20 historically while carriers after Ranger were about 5 times that amount. She got sunk with a few torpedoes from the USS Archerfish. It was also very coincidental that at the time of Shinano's sinking, the Japanese were moving her to Kure to add her watertight bulkhead doors. Without those doors though, she sank quickly.

Funny thing, had Wargaming gone with what the RN actually considered, this would have been a well built, 3-4 turret Heavy Crusiers with triple 8-inch gun turrets, that might have had autoloading. Or in short, something much more dangerous than (likely) any heavy cruiser in the game. Instead, we got something that never existed that's bad.

Hmm I missed the part about the best AA in class and tier. If u run BFT and manual AA u can hurt enemy carriers quite a bit + u have the superheal to heal up any damage inflicted. Apart from that nice vid as usual. :)

Ah, the ship where everything about it is wrong and fake, because why recreate a real British Heavy Cruiser design when you can re-use assets and create an unholy abomination. - Cloning the hull of Neptune but fluffing the armour values out. - Wrong type of guns, in the wrong style of turret, with the wrong shells. - Torpedo cut outs are not a feature on RN CAs of this period, reeee. - And even the goddamned name is wrong for a British Heavy cruiser of WW2, since Admiral names were to be used, not County ones. In short. Fake ship, fake name, fake design, antithesis to all I stand for, and it needs to be purged in holy fire alongside Monarch, Albemarle, Goliath and Conq/Thund. Now excuse me while I go look at the real RN heavy cruiser designs and be depressed.

Monarch at least has some basis in reality, as a reasonable extrapolation of what the RN might have done had they had the same chance to rearm the KGV's as the USN had with the North Carolinas. The rest of them? Unhistorical trash.

@@micuu1 Unfortunately Monarch doesn't have any basis in reality and is not plausible in any way. Being a cloned DoY/KGV hull with post war lattice masts and Nelson turrets isn't close to the 9x15" designs of 1935 and 1937. Monarch is my original nemesis when it comes to fake ships.

@@micuu1 They can, when they can be bothered to. But more and more these days they will cut corners or make very silly mistakes, while making nice looking models. The inconsistency really irks me.
