I've had a Classic Design Concepts hood strut kit on my New Edge for over 15 years. Never had any issues. Held up both my stock hood and my Cervinis hood.

you all should explore the "dual pass" radiator it keeps the 5.0 in my sons car super cool. Just a suggestion.

I Added A Ford Motorsport 3 Core Alum Radiator & A BLK Magic Fan At The Same Time. Didn't Know For A While That The Fan Flexed, Hit The Water Pump Pulley Bolts & Broke Every Blade Off The Fan!! The FMS 3 Core Rad Kept It Cool, But Running Dual Thin Line Fans Now.

The guys at Fox junk know their stuff, great job. Overheating problems are the worse. Great video guys. always fun.

Being an SSP owner, I did not know that about the fan! When you get around to replacing the door handle, beware. The new one I bought and installed ended up striking the paint when manipulated! Ouch! I've had my hood struts on two different cars. I've owned them since...2003-4. They still work great! No problems.

Those e-fans are a joke. I can tell by the straight blades. The genuine Contour e-fans have curved blades. Redline hood struts are much longer & will last a long time. Strong enough where 1 will hold the hood up. Also opens the hood much farther than the prop rod.

Glad you finally found somebody that knows what the hell he’s doing,this guy knows his stuff! I had a similar problem with my jeep! The original fan only had 5 blades and they were spaced weirdly plus the blades didn’t have enough angle so I bought a high performance 6 blade fan and that solved the over heating jeep problem! Everybody asked how I fixed my jeep over heating problem and I said take a look ,it was a bad original fan design! Happy Days! You can usually solve a problem by looking at the set up and checking every possible problem! The first clue was to hold my hand over the motor while running and the air flow was very light and that said I need better fan! Glad you got your car fixed!😎☠️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️☠️

That LMR electric fan wiring kit is horrible I had the exact same problem with melted relays. We fixed it by adding a second relay and fuse block.

I have the same fan setup on my 93 foxbody and even with my engine being built I don’t have any over heating problems with mine

The radiator is small for a modified car and the after market fan shroud was a bad design!

Problem Solved! Wow. If that problem hadn't been discovered that would have been another story and a burnt Mustang story. Now I like to see that SSP Fox Body run bad ass!

I took my electric fan out and I put the stock fan back in it's working better now

You guys are so lucky to have resources like Aaron and Cody to help when you need them. Mustang lovers are definitely the minority in my area….most are Into Camaros.

use a clutch fan. the 10 hp isnt worth it the temperature problems. delete the ac. you'll get back that hp right away.
