I agree, ridiculous and the passenger has zero awareness of what's going off around him. I would have looked up and gestured and apologised to the driver.

This is a speciality in Bradford! I often get baulked coming out of McDonald's with my daily latte on the way to work by someone dropping off. :@

so you couldn't do a left turn by going around them? what if this vehicle had broken down? (it's not but putting example). you go around it. you aint gonna wait 3 hours for RAC to come out are you?

Why should I have to correct their mistake? I wasn't bothered that I had to wait a few extra seconds, just thought they could have chosen a better place to stop 🤷♀️

@@DriveSmartDash you clearly are bothered and looking for views. they probably shouldn't of done it but you could of easily drove around them like the van had done, you know? go over to the other side of the road carefully like you would when you see a legally parked vehicle on your left side.

@@icewallowcome4955 not looking for views at all, my channel is not monetised - it's aimed at Learners & new drivers on what kind of things to expect during everyday driving. And I wasn't willing to manouvre around the car, as I would have put myself in the opposite lane and there could possibly be traffic turning into this road - then I'm the one in the wrong 😖

@@DriveSmartDash Absolutely nothing wrong with waiting for those in front to finish doing what they are doing. I know someone that was carefully passing parked cars when someone flew into the junction and had a head on collision. Even with dash cam footage they were found fully at fault for being on the wrong side of the road on the approach to a junction 🤷🏻♂️ It is a great clip to show we should always be ready for anything when out driving 👍
