As an American, I watch German Christmas market videos after Thanksgiving here. It's my new tradition. I want to visit Germany during the Christmas season one year and do a tour of Christmas markets. I hear the amusement park Phantasialand looks amazing also during this time of year. Love this videos! Great job and new subscriber!

Yes, agree. I lived in Stuttgart for a few years, and I am German. From all the once I have seen, Stuttgart has the best food, decorations on the booths, and is one of the biggest once. Also the scenery with the old and new castle in the background is gorgeous. Snow is an added bonus. ❤

I’m American, but my ancestry traces back to Stuttgart. They left because they wanted to get away from the Kaiser. People in Germany now live in a free and democratic society. But, you’re in danger of demographic decline because you aren’t having enough children. I pray that Germany remains a free and democratic nation and continues to live in peace with its neighbors and that all of Europe continues to support Ukraine. And I also pray that Europe never falls back into what it was for centuries before 1945. One day I would like to visit and see the beautiful things like this that places like Stuttgart has to offer. I am out filming markets right now...I just checked into my hotel in Strasbourg. I will start posting the new videos on December 16th. There is no way I can do it from here. I need a fast internet connection to upload large files...hotels don't have it.

Schönes Video. Ich versuche mich auch gerade mit den nächtlichen Aufnahmen auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt mit meiner Sony ZV - E10 und dem Sony SEL 15mm F1.4. Ich habe gestern ein halbstündiges Video mit aktivierten Autofocus gemacht und dabei in der Postproduktion feststellen müssen, dass der Autofokus ungeeignet ist. Die Kamera versucht ständig scharfzustellen, was den Bildeindruck zerstört. Stellst du deine Kamera auf manuellen Fokus ein und gehst dann auf unendlich? Bei dir sieht man in deinen Videos eher selten, dass deine Kamera versucht zu fokussieren. Läufst du mit manueller Belichtungseinstellung oder im Automodus? Danke dir schonmal im Vorraus für deine Tipps.

You do not need to apply for a licence for such public events. You just have to respect people's privacy and their wish not to be filmed. Otherwise, everything is allowed.

If you visit the Weihnachtsmarkt in the afternoon, you will see children, on the. Evening it is mostly visited by adults.

Just watched the whole thing. Although I was unable to detect what you describe, I _did_ see a lady with possibly a hijab although it might have been an ordinary scarf. I saw two black people (3 if you count the Tiffany ad), so there's that. Pretty fuckin' scary, right? AND there were a couple of guys near the end who were slightly darker. Well, I just about shit my pants! What a terrifying place!
