Fun fact: Lady Gaga got her name from the 1984 song “Radio GaGa” by the rock group Queen. The song was written about the drummer’s, Roger Taylor’s love for the radio. But the inspiration behind the song was when Roger was driving his son Felix and listening to a bad song on the radio, when Felix said “Radio ca ca”.

This was definitely cool for sure. Personally, I'd love to see a future style video on Lolita fashion; there's so much history, culture, variation, and unfortunate controversy behind it that any 1 thing about it would be interesting. you could do a specific information video on the hows and whys kinda like with the Shein vid, or a specific question like how much do the different styles of clothing accurately represent the eras and countries they're inspired by? anyway, love this channel; keep up the fantastic work!

@@SgtSupaman I totally understand your reasoning, but edible underwear is never often thrown in the wash after being worn. Besides, the pair of edible underwear is often worn when the wearer is lying on the bed waiting for their partner for obvious reasons, and the undergarment is either thrown in the trash or the partner of the wearer eats it off.

True Fact: Montreal artist, Jana Sterbak, displayed a Meat Dress in the National Gallery of Canada, back in 1991, almost 20 years before Gaga. This dress, beyond challenging the idea of "art," was made as a commentary on mortality and aging. It was made of 50 lbs of salted flank steak and left to rot in the gallery for 6 weeks (under glass), before being replaced by a fresh meat dress for the remaining 4 weeks, before the exhibit went on tour in the US and UK.

Wow did this bring back memories. I can still remember hearing about Gaga's dress on the news, turning to my mum and saying 'Well that's one way to waste meat. Guess Gaga isn't vegetarian.' yk. the best way for your feet not to hurt is to stop doing ballet/pointe. but uh ig js regularly change your silicone toe pads and make sure that your pointe shoes fit your feet and don't ignore the bunions and stuff. but yk, ballet hurts

there's a video on youtube called "Why are Modern High Heels so Bad?" by Nicole Rudolph that i think you'd enjoy. She breaks down the anatomy of pointed shoes and heels and gives historical examples of shoes that fit much better than the ones made today, very fun watch.

I don't know if somebody did not point this out, but at 12:40 when you are calculating how much heat will get the meat, you have a mistake in conversion of Celsius to Fahrenheit, because you are calculating as absolute temperature and not as delta of temperature, therefore delta of 6.8°C(or °K in delta it doesn't matter) is 12.24°F not yours 44.24°F(the formula for delta is °C*9/5=°F and not °C*9/5+32=°F as its for outside temperature), hope that you will correct it soon. (Sorry for my English)

The cost determined for the meat dress didn't include cost of labor. The $4,000 black dress was broken down to the cost of materials, but the meat dress cost wasn't inflated to include the designer's rate. I was curious why?

I don't know if you could theoretically do that. Having raw meat in contact with your body would, in my mind, act the same way as cooking something sous vide: surrounding something you want to cook in high temp water, but it would not exceed that temperature. The meat would eventually come up to body temperature (97-99°F), it wouldn't exceed that, making it unsafe for consumption. Hell, it wouldn't have even come close to browning

@Amanda C.S. my basic theory (in my head) was slow cooking meat at low low Temps like bbq but I think your right that the temp wouldn't max out high enough for browning.

From Uruguay here, flank stake is a poor substitute for matambre (or matambrito as we prefer calling it) because for one, matambre has a ton of fat. Also has very little juice so I guess if you need to pick a meat for your dress it's one of the least disgusting options.

There really needs to be playlists for videos like these. The ones that seem like they could have been on other channels. Not sure if there should be one list on each channel that has the videos from the others that should be that channel or have 3 each with one for videos that could be on each of the other ones. Like food theory getting “I can’t believe it’s not film” and “I can’t believe it’s not game” and “i can’t believe it’s not style”.
