There are a few methods you can use to conceal the line on your repaired styrofoam.
These include:
- Covering it in resin
- Applying stipple latex on it as your final coat
- Using a spray glue

An important note: expanding foam release isocyanates into the air while expanding. Its highly carcinogenic and should always be used outdoors.

how can you use it outdoors when alot of times if your like me and a builder you have to use it inside of a building often in small rooms.

@@klausreviewscraftrestore3152 you can of course use it with a gas filter on your mask. But builders that i know here in Sweden stopped using it on the indoor sites years ago because of the fumes.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix a part of syrofoam that has melted from using spray paint on it?

Would this product work to fix an outdoor planter pot the broke in two? The bottom busted off when someone dropped my planter on concrete. Will it hold like glue? Will the two halves push apart as the foam expands.

use spackle to build up over the ridge, and then sand that down.

Can u reuse that same can of spray or does it set up in the stray and spray nozzle ?

Soooo...... no safety warnings at all? The stuff used as "glue" in this video is basically what my old teacher used to call "cancer in a tube" 👎💀 ...do NOT use this shit indoors unless you have a serious professional exhaust system, and even then only while using protective gear, I seriously expected a higher degree of safety from a professional channel 🙄

This clip is an excerpt from a much longer course. In the full course, as with all of our courses, instructor Tim Martin reviews safety precautions and makes it very clear that anyone working with toxic materials should always work outdoors or in a well-ventilated environment. While shooting this course for us, Tim was well-protected by our ventilation and fans. - Balázs
