Do you all think he has an appreciation of how damn good he is !? And that there are so many of us out there that wish we were just half that talented ?? Because being a 51 year old man and drummer for a local band. I"ve never had formal training. I just want to have a nice side job doing what I love....PLAYING!.....I wonder if he loves it as much, or is a job to him ?

This version is great! I also saw the other one but if you want to hear MORE of exactly what Todd is doing, this is the one to watch. You hear his rudiments more clearly.

I have seen this many times & it is excellent one complaint: there used to be very nice clean version and it was taken down for some reason. Wish it was reinstated again.. Todd's playing is absolutely stunning...

This is just a cheapy recording, of course its going to be distorted. Theres another camera angle and the mixed drums & music. This is quake cam. Click on title without quake cam for better audio and the rest of the band. Or better yet buy the blu ray and have both on hand

I like this quick cam version. .Which only shows his style and sound.. Wow is all I can say... He has a drumming tutorial out on the market. Styx and Emerson lake and palmer are my favorite, We besides les claypool...

For those of you who don't have the DVD, this is from the back, recording only Todd's playing. It's in the "special features" section of the DVD. It was done like this purposely, to show "Todd's point of view" so to speak.

I love the snap technique to get the power in his hits but if I practiced like that my neighbors would burn my house and studio down :) Amazing player! PS - Pretty sure he is twin brother to Steve Lukather from Toto, LOL!
