I wish Todd would do this more often. I was a drummer for 40 years and I studied John Panozzo religiously to get every beat right. Watching Todd gives me that familiarity. I absolutely LOVE The Mission.

Have been a huge fan of Styx since the beginning (going WAY back to the Wooden Nickel years). Yes, I was originally on the no Dennis, no Styx wagon. This album marks an incredible resurgence! It reminds me that Styx is much more than just one man. Kudos to Todd as well, incredible job.

As a drummer myself, I can't help but to appreciate Todd's precision that so few, if any can match.

As crappy as 2020 is, Todd's drumming inspires me to continue on with my drumming journey! :) + And the lyrics also speaks to a lot of us going through this time, I think. Perfect song selection as well!

If Neil’s “The Professor”, Todd should be “The Teacher”. He’s just so good. That’s a huge kit too. Great Job Todd!!! Hope to see some more.

For decades, Grand Illusion and Equinox were tops, and i thought there was no way a new album from them could even come close. That all changed with the Mission. It is my favorite Styx by faaaarrrr. Who does their best album 50 years in? Amazing

Amazing album and the more I listen to it the more often I change my mind on favorite song. Right now it's a toss up between Radio Silence and The Outpost but after hearing this again I may have to rethink that again.

I have bought the Mission-album, now I can't get it off my player!! I imagine 20 more albums from Styx. Please, go back to the studio and record, record, record. The world deserves (needs) more such music!! :-)

Met Todd at a drum workshop. I had to leave early and got to talk to him with no one around. One of the coolest people I have ever met. No ego. In my opinion he is Peart's heir no question.

@@heyskipj I didn't do that spelling. I spell very well. That is how it came out. I just didn't correct it. I have had people that work for U-tube play with my posts. They don't even know why they interfere with me. It is because satan uses the ones that do it. 😎🦊🔥🌈🕛

Bs one of the better albums since paradise. Gowans voice is different but his playing is exceptional. Ddy want to be on broadway....talent...yes but not that rockin.
