Who's one drummer you'd want us to do a "day in the life" with?

Getting on stage and feeling, "Alone at last." I'm a part-time musician who plays to maybe 20 people a gig a couple times a month, and I have that same feeling. It's 60 minutes of total focus and pure communication. It's active meditation. There's no feeling like it.

Most people wouldn't say this but I consider Todd the best drummer alive today. Any group would kill to have Todd.

I’ve seen Todd twice w Styx. The guy was just on fire both nights. He gives everything he’s got on every song and drives that band like a freight train.

My wife and me had a meet and greet with the guys a few years ago in Peoria, Illinois. Those guys are an absolute hoot. You can tell the guys how you want them to pose for a funny photo and they'll do it. As rock stars for decades,they're not the least bit pretentious. Plus the concerts are stellar. Still got their chops. Next time they're in town we'll pay the money for another meet and greet. They're worth every penny.

I've seen my share of "Tribute Bands" and many "a few original members" bands from 70's 80's but STYX, by far, is the hottest and strongest from the era gone by that I have EVER had the privilege to see and hear. And Todd REALLY sets the bar and brings it! Twice I've caught their show in recent years and bar none of all the other many shows I've seen STYX sticks out as a super strong show that I will never forget. RESPECT !

I had no idea who Todd was 2 months ago. Got back into drumming and found Drumeo and Todd all over the place. I'm 3 years younger than Todd, and I was a pretty big STYX fan in my youth. Paradise Theater is STILL my favorite STYX album and one of my all-time favorites period. I watched "Return to Paradise" 3 or 4 months back and had no idea who Todd was but holy crap, was he on fire..... So, at the end of this video when he mentions that he's playing with a band he SAW PERFORM 3 times as a kid himself, that hit home. I'm wishing I'd gotten back into it a LOT sooner, but I am DAMN GLAD I got back into it now before it's too late to do something about it..... Great video, thanks for producing and sharing.

I like Good very much. Monster drummer, great sense of humor, fun of great advice, and he has such a great attitude and gratitude for playing in Styx. So many older bands can be seen as going through the motions, playing their hits for the millionth time, and Styx have those hits too. But to to make it exciting and fun and fresh can be tough and Todd always brings it. Love this guy. And Styx can still rock a show. I hope my favorite bands are still playing like years from now.

Great Video about a great - no that's an understatement - one of the absolutely top notch players there are out there. So humble, so professional. And so awesome. Been a fan for a long time and the more I see and hear from him the more convinced I become. Check out some of his stuff outside Styx - for instance Finally George (released in 2018) Just Brilliant, or the stuff he did with Jerry Goodman or Brian Wilson.

I got to see Styx earlier this year. I will never forget it!!!! Todd Succhermann was just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no words that can be explained how awesome the show was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POlice escort. Not too many bands get that I bet. And all for the Rock and Roll - the show must go on! Hell Yeah! Todd's kinda in the stratoshere when it comes to drumming. Alot of people overlook him, and I don't know why, he truly is one of the great drummers of all time. And sure seems to be a helluva a nice guy on top of it. Anyone that has his signature sticks with the date of his anniversary is a standout - R and R - kinda guy.
