Front wheel bearing replacement for an FR-S/BRZ. Overall a very simple job. Only difficulty is removing the bearing once the 4 mounting bolts are removed. Patience, penetrant, a little bit of heat (watch out for the balljoint!), and a big hammer can do the job. I found bashing the heck out of the hub itself up/down and forwards be more effective than trying to get a good swing at it from the back. Be careful not to damage the knuckle. Be safe.

good tutorial. I wrecked my wheel speed sensor when I did mine 1 year ago. It was too crusty and ended up snapping. My other front bearing has gone now so this video is a good refresher thanks

Do you spec torque the hub and caliper bolts, or just good-n-tite them by hand?

Usually if it's a tight space I don't even bother to get the torque wrench out. I just go by experience and intuition. You can usually guesstimate the torque value by simply looking at the size of the bolt.

Is this the part number? SU00311390 is the front the same as the rear?

Rear is different, part number looks correct for OEM. I used a Timken bearing here in this video.

@@sebastienpotente7385 I mean the tire size works, but it is a taller tire so it will make the gearing longer. I'd rather go 245/40/17 for a daily for a mix of performance/aesthetics. You might need some negative camber if you're going that wide though.
