i have one an automatic GT 2001 17 inch mags 6,500 rpm = 154.5 mph and about 250 klh = my engine upgrade sees 8,000 rpm and by GOD it is flying !

it is a GC8 chassie ! just body differant - 1996 - 2002 ! mine is 2001 .

Jdm foresters and some other markets are speed limited to 180km/h but a stand alone ecu or reflashed or open source tune gets rid of this

If you keep it stock, it is pretty reliable and quite good, but in no way is it a world beater. Also watch out for rust.

@@class2instructor32 i been thinking about getting a Forrester 2.5 turbo, 2005-2008. From what i heard they blow headgaskets, and oil issues causes serious engine damage. It's a very nice car, but if the engine doesn't hold together... there no point having one.

Kompletně vykovaný motor, ARP štefty, výkona olejová a benzinova pumpa, pevne uloženi motoru Gr.N, Turbo VF48 STi 2014, velky STi intercooler, laditelna jednotka APEXI a 3palcovy plně průchozi vyfuk.

How did you remove the governor???? And what transmission/ engine setup do you have?!

Lol, he didnt. Its an electronically controlled, fuel injected engine. It has no governer. As for the setup, a remap is enough to get it this fast. Its damn near do it with a stock engine (the speedometer in subarus over reads by a lot btw, up to 20mph sometimes). Hes probably doing about 130 to 140mph. A stock 2.5 xt will do that, 2.0 xt probably not far behind. The transmission witll be the stock TY754 series 5 speed. Subarus are just quick bro, not the fastest things in the world, but definitely quick.

@@Nbomber NO not possible to remap - SF5 Forester ECU`S this is a factory tune = your all mixed up ! mine rev`s to 8,200 255 kph is easy just bang it to the floor !
