Um die Zeit zu überbrücken gibts wieder verschiedene Best Of's aus den vergangenen Jahren, den Anfang bekommen die Turbo Boxer von Subaru im Impreza :)

The audio is mixed very well! Basically 5 mins of straight engine sound. Love it!

They are for sure one of if not the best sounding four cylinders around. The boxer rumble is just such a great sound. It's crazy that these cars can be next to gtr's and sound as good if not better is just a reminder of that.

Boxers do not rumble, never have, never will. What you hear are the unequal length headers. Get equal length headers and these subies sound like any other 4 banger.

@@grafle3431 Whilst you are right, how often do people keep stock exhaust? And *even though* its a product of the exhaust, would another engine sound identical to it? Hell no. Whilst you are coming from the right place it's still an irrelevant thing to bring up.

@@trentdd15 how is it irrelevant??... The oem header on subies produce what everyone hears in this video, the rumble. Many people change the catbacks and leave the headers stock. If they do drop money on headers, it’s usually the same design, Unequal length. You’re on KZfaq right? Search WRXs with EL header and civics with UEL header. I have 1320 uel header on my ek (Honda) and people think I’m a Subaru before seeing my car. So no, you’re incorrect in almost every way. It’s extremely relevant. Any car can sound like a subie and a subie can sound like any car. Simple, UEL header produce different strokes of pulses. When the exhaust pulses collide, it creates a rumble like effect to the ear.

@@Subawoo123 A whole number of Ford based Cosworth engines, K series, B series, BMW S14 etc. There’s way more out there too. Subarus only sound good with equal length headers anyway.

thats not a rod knock, its piston slap which is normal with forged pistons which Im guessing that built engine has.

@@cruizinmax4017 100% not true. That is complete rod knock. I've already had two of them and they sounded exactly the same along with some friends. I can bet you that engine was not cold either. If it was slap, you wouldn't hear it after a few minutes. That is a true knock. My 03 was just like that. Slaps hard at the beginning of throttle. It full blew shortly after (2x)

It's the late 2000s to early 2010s hatchback sti model. Didn't last for too long cause people didn't dig it being a hatchback but I personally love the car once the stock tail lights get replaced.

Schade dass man nur ein oder zwei Subis mit gleichlangem Krümmer hört. Dadurch geht zwar der typische rumpelnde Boxersound etwas flöten, aber ich finde es klingt noch geiler. Der letzte Kobi hat glaube ich diese Krümmer drin.

Idk what your definition of fast is, subies are AWD and that's not gonna help quickness but they're light and surprisingly quick. Don't judge them all from one shit box you rode in. They aren't all fast but 2008+ seen a big jump in power output.
