Can you just change it back to the stock tune then take the accessport out of the car before you go to a dealership? It's probably an easy way to get away with having an accessport if that's how it works.

@@AlexGuerreroFilms awesome thanks for the fast response. I was looking at getting the accessport with the cobb stage 1 tune off the shelf from bren tuning which also comes with a free "burble" add on.

Yo bro my 2016 Wrx is all stock except for the axle back, what do I need to make it stage 1? Do I gotta change parts? Or do I only need a accessport?, and do I do it myself??

Yeah just an accesport and you could also buy a Cobb intake you could do it all yourself

Thanks!! Well my parents basically bought the wrx as a gift under the condition that it had to be auto 🤦🏻‍♂️I just payed 4K for it lol but the more I drive it the more I like it...not going to lie it’s beaten some manual wrxs 😂Glad u liked the vid bro 🙏🏻

@@AlexGuerreroFilms Got you bro and not a damn thing wrong with that! And I deff believe you, the clutch and gearbox in the fa wrx are wonky, cvt boosted launches are perfect every time and now you got a little more sauce with the tune, enjoy homie!

I have a 2016 cvt and I got it for graduation and paid 5k down. Had to be an auto for my younger siblings and it’s grown on me too.

Is it safe to tune stage 1+ on CVT transmission? I’ve heard so many negative reviews saying it affect transmission any feed back on this ?

It all depends on how you’re going to drive the car you know. However stage 1+ tune from Cobb is as far as I would recommend.

Will CVTs go faster top speed or just accelerate faster?

Probs just accelerate fast from a roll but mine lacks top end lol

@AlexGuerreroFilms hey Alex, thanks for the vid. After the tune do you feel like it responds quicker at take off. My stock cvt 2018 always lags a sec before it throws you back in your seat lol. Even doing a 3 point turn when I go from reverse to drive it just thinks a sec before it responds to the acceleration. Just wanted to know if that gets fixed with the COBB?

So all i gotta buy is the access port for the tune to be flashed? No need to go to a tuner or anything? Can it be any wrx cobb access port or is there a specific one for the cvt.

Yes need to be one from Cobb for WRX cvt those will come preloaded with Cobb tunes
