I'm amazed how good condition the car is in, nice to see it coming apart so well.

As your all ready spent out on the top mounts why don’t you get the one bit that fits to the car remade on a bigger plate, surly your got a machine shop at work?

Great work Chris. I see PAS in there.. can you convert to ePAS at all? I love how you talk about seeing how far into it you want to go .. My steering rack sprung a leak in Nov 2020 .. in the process of taking of it out for a refurb, I ended up stripping the car down to a bare shell, putting it on a jig and completely overhauling the car.. things can escalate quickly lol and i'n not finished yet lol.. Great content and I look forward to seeing your progress.

First off, thanks for the feedback! Really motivating to hear people like the content. I'm considering a Saxo VTR hydraulic/electric PAS which apparently is mega easy to work, like 2 wires and not parasitic. That if I went ePAS would be most likely. I am still considering running none at all, as it will probably give a nice feel to run a manual rack but I'm a ways off making any set in stone decision

@@ChrisTheCarBuilder Cool. With the ePAS conversion on Clio, you get a control unit off ebay that allows you to control the assistance .. you can turn it to zero too.
