Wow! I have the same problems! I also had the sticky notes. Never wrote my measurements down. I also had the tumbler issue. Did do the blanket yet, but have 8 I haven’t started making them. Thanks for the tip. The mugs with the Cricut are come out perfectly, but not always when using oven for 20oz or larger.

Notebook is a great idea. You could even screen shot your printer settings and stuff like that, print off the screen shots and store those in your notebook too. A virtual notebook works too, word doc or Google doc, copy / paste the screen shots, and keep notes there and you can access them on your phone or computer and it's free.

Hey! New subscriber here! I'm hoping to get into Sublimation soon, so came here tonight and searched "step by step sublimation for beginners". Your video came up, so I gave it a go. I appreciate you being kind enough to share the "little things" that all too often most people have to learn the hard way. Or if someone is willing to share the information, they also want to charge you to learn it. Or how people buy a Cricut and let it sit in a box for a year (or more) because they're afraid to get it out and screw up. That can get expensive!!! I hope to check out more of your videos for continued suggestions! TFS!! :)

TFS these great tips. Although I have the printer, paper, ink, mugs and mug press, I have not done sublimation with the printer. The first take away was just don't dive in as enthusiastic crafters do. Slow it down, keep notes, learn, measure twice and cut once. I am so glad to meet you. And will be looking forward to learning a great deal from you!
