I finished up Project Stealth, but there are still some questions about this custom car audio system. Do the amplifiers have room to properly cool or do they overheat? Hello Mark, I’m a carpenter by trade and love my car audio and I’ve watched quite a few of your videos and like you I like to see nice lines, symmetry and perfection, I’ll give credit where it’s due and boy you do have some skills working with Mdf. Your finish to your work is excellent. I’ve been in the trade 20 years and there’s been a few things in your videos that even I thought were very good ideas that I didn’t know. Great job in what you do. Very impressive.

Great job on this build! Over the past few years I have to say your videos have inspired me to take more time with my builds and do things clean and correct and no half assed or hacked together stuff and all my projects from car stuff to woodworking to computers look and feel much better to use.

Good Morning Mark! I jumped on this video because it is the latest and hoping you will see this faster! I'm Luke, 41 years old, and been installing systems since i was about 14. I found you about a year ago from a family member and it has changed my CAF life! I have built up to a true band-pass box design and for many years Ive wanted to step my game up and start building shit that i see at the comps! Thanks to you and your videos, I have learned sooooooo much. I now understand all the little things i knew i was doing wrong but had no clue just what it was that I was doing wrong, after the many hours of watching and re-watching i can now install and properly tune my system and systems of customers that im trying to build my side business. I need to get a router and table saw to finish stepping up my game. I have the math and build design for a Rockford R1 10" T-line box that i may build, since I do have the sub just dont have the room im my 94 standard cab S10 truck. Buddy back the road stopped by last night and wants me to do a custom build for the Sundown Xv2 15" sub he has. Its going into a crew cab truck that he is willing to give up all the crew cab to do this build. I am going to run the numbers today for what it will take to do a T-line box. Not sure what design to draw up for him???? have also thought about doing a Kiefed vented box for him. What do you think? I would love your thoughts on which style to do. This will be his daily driver truck so i am going to build the box into the cab of the truck using the amazing stuff you have taught me. I’m gonna be tackling my first real custom install in my truck. It’s gonna be a center console that will have either 2 8s or 6.5s depending on total space. I am debating on making a fiberglass mold of the floor but I’m unsure I would really gain that much space and I don’t have a clue how to actually adhere it to the wood side panels

You're doing some great work, and the videos are awesome, but I see you build alot on larger vehicles, I just bought myself a 2019 Toyota yaris (I guess it's called echo in the states) the trunk is limited space, do you have any suggestions or advice on smaller trunks?

Is this the GXP? Looks great. You could always make a cover and carry a spare on long trips. How do you get the LED lighting so smooth? I always end up being able to see the bulbs.

What material do you used to cover the subwoofer that the sound can pass thru? Is that a MDF board same as the speaker board that you cover with carpet?

You and Steve Meade man. Two of the best in the game in my opinion. I have learned so much from the both of you and have made two separate build lists based off the information y'all have given in your videos. The setup I have in my car now, I am quickly and unfortunately realizing is quite garbage and done very wrong lol. I created a build list based off several videos of yours I've watched and plan on redoing the setup in my current car. I drive a 2017 Chevy sonic RS hatchback and daily drive it. So I want to do a small build in that. Just a little something to give me nice bass and good sound quality. Then I want to buy another car, used car outright with cash (no more payments for me) and have another build list I've created after watching several of Steve's video's. It's going to be a much bigger, louder, spl based build. Only thing that still confuses me is the technical stuff, like tuning it and all that extra stuff. Like the dm-810 how you can "time align" speakers together. That goes right over my head lol. Anyway, I'm done writing my book up. Love your videos man! Got my sub here and on Instagram.

If I were to make this, I would charge 10k with parts and labor because of it's sophistication alone(and premium parts too!) Looks amazing and I imagine it sounds just as amazing. Thank you for these videos! Also, if one were interested in doing this as a career, where would you recommend them to go for schooling?

I would like to know how to determine what battery/batteries would work best for my big build (approx 4750 watts) Its all Rockford Fosgate: 1# - T2 16" (2ohm) 1# - T4 6.5" comp. set 4# - T1 6x9's 1# - T2500.1 cp db 1# - T1000.4 cp dp A pioneer AVH 34000 NEX deck. A 370amp Meacham Elite alternator to power everything. (Just 1 alt. No dual bracket available for my engine) I want to go with xs power and i was thinking about running 2 xs power d3400's. (Crutchfield suggested). . . ANY advice suggestions explanations or tips will be GREATLY APPRECIATED and put to use!!! Thx in advance!!!

A lot of cars/vans do not have a spare tire but a one time use fix-a-flat thing. I know the Jeep Renegade and Chrysler Pacifica do not have spares, for the exact reason mentioned in the video. Now days between cell phone providers, insurance, and warranties road side is to common and many don't know how to change a spare anyways.

Did the gxp have the monsoon system? If so did you wire with amp or take it out? Was a real fun rime doing the radio in my gxp. I took the amp out and wired in my own speakers with their own wires i bought. Pulled the seats and carpet out with center console for better wire management. Ill upload my progress and after install when i get a chance. I do have a microphone and backup camera with swc all installed as well.

Amazing install Mark, the craftsmanship of your projects is always incredible!! I wanted to ask you, are you just running the compound speakers at the front of the car in this set-up or does it also has rears? Is it always really necessary to include rear speakers like in a sports car with a small cabin?

I believe he's only running a 3 way setup in the fronts, no rear speakers. I've seen a bunch of ppl who do sq stereo builds only use front speakers and none for rear fill. Dont think there is a right/wrong answer, I believe it's all just preference.

I have a question, not sure who to ask so I figure I’ll ask here. I have an Alpine S series 12” dual voice 4ohm + 4ohm subwoofer and it’s rated for 600w RMS and 1800w peak. I have a 2 channel pioneer 1000w amp and I have each voice coil wired to its own channel. The amp only puts out 150w rms and 300w peak per channel for 4 ohm speakers. I can tell the sub is severely under power but it still hits great at about 2/3 volume. The woofer is recommended to be in a 0.85 cubic ft sealed box and the box i built is 0.89 cubic ft. Do I need a stronger amplifier or am I wired up incorrectly? And is the 600w rms rating for each voice coil or all together? I’m still learning all of this stuff so any help is appreciated

my 2015 camaro had no spare either just a can of inflator spray and possibly a little compressor. i thought about doing this but sold it before i tried.
