An old animation short-film made in the spring of 2011, as part of a school assignment at the Noroff University College in Oslo.
Personally I modeled the protagonist and some background props and animated the part from 0:21 to 1:15 and the part from 2:45 and out.

I remember a hand-drawn cartoon which was much like this. Not necessarily running for the train or pressing the button, but a man walks onto the platform, train arrives (maybe) and never manages to leave with the train. I remember one time he walked in and the train was so dark he got turned around and came right back out. Another time two swordsmen came out of the train fighting and knocked the guy over. Did a play get performed and he got distracted? Can't remember now... The other thing I can't remember is what the name of this cartoon was.

Interesting. I've never seen it, but I don't know if maybe one of the other guys I worked together with on this animation maybe did. I'd love to see it if you happen to find it. :)

+StarLight IronHooves Heh, yeah. They were supposed to be a lot more varied, but the guy responsible for the crowd was too busy with other things, if I remember correctly. And then we simply ran out of time and just went with it. Oh well. Such is the way of student projects I guess. :)
