***** since I know tht amount of unadulterated lies tht are churned out by an academic cartel which doesn't allow any academic criticism n goes after critics of western author using money n power of western govt, yes I wud not want sm1 to read hinduphobic authors . You are not a free indian, suheldev pasi, mangal pandey, birsa munda were free indians. You n ur entire crowd who somehow seeks to get a usa visa n grant by playing into hands of western church backed govt are nothing more than pawns n I dnt much care abt pawns.

Yeah, Hindus never lie. They are so important that there are academic cartels behind them.. ha ha. Typical Hindu. A free Indian today is free from all ideological influence and slavery of mind. That includes freedom from religious indoctrination. Deepesh Mishra

@Shaunaka Rishi Das Ji, i dont know how it is possible but atleast now i know what happens to a person when he starts liking Vishnu, in past 5 years of my life, after i learned Gita in 2015, you are the only person till now who happens to think the way i do. I wish there are many like you. Thankyou for your intellectual speech ,i really liked the way you put your arguments, its completely logical atleast to me. May you live 1000 years and make 1000 more like you. Aum Namaha Vishnave.

Such a beautiful story and way of delivery. Lot many people cannot understand the story because they cannot come out of their present way of thinking about success and failure.

Success and failure is the result of actions or Karma. And strangely the matter is discussed here without mentioning Karma Yoga! *Hinduism tells you to be driven by Dharma alone; and not by success/failure duality.* Success and failure are fruits of action Krishna clearly identified in the Gita and exhorted not to get entangled with and to maintain equanimity. When you know that it is He who gives you success and it is He who gives you failure, and that in reality you have no say in the matter than act your part (by selfless action Dharmically) the concepts of success and failure become meaningless.

Insightful indeed, Adi Shankaracharya's take on the subject in question was the twin plains a. Vyavaharika satta ie the mundane or material success/failure, b. Parmarthika satta ie the non mundane which transcends the mundane and consequently maya/material ceases, now this stage is therefore beyond the ambit of the dialectics of success and failure conveyed through the journey and quest for Moksha ie detachment wherein success and failure cease to be of consequence,an ideal typical concept and very difficult to achieve but remains an integral part of Hindu philosophy ie the 4 stages namely Brahmacharya,grihastha,sanyas and vanaprastha the latter two advocate a state of non materialism wherein success and failure is no longer relevant at least not materially, here the acid test is the increasing degree of detachment or the lack of it, your example of Vishwamitra is a case in point, Hindus largely are contented kinds with generally an other worldly or less materialistic world view,this could be an entirely subjective perception as I am not an authority on Hinduism and therefore could be absolutely wrong

It is Ahankar which motivates us to succeed. Ahankar is a kind of ego, which doesn't ends with death. This Ahankar is very integrated to us no matter what form of life we get, it is cat, dog, bird, or any creature. It is also responsible to achieve the highest goal. Renunciation is one necessary step to achieve the highest goal, which is also due to Ahankar but it is not bad but for good identity.

Anyone wants to know the Ramayana just watch the Japanese anime version. Last month a hindu girl was given the presidential posting in oxford she had faced racism based on her religious background from indians christains with hindu names and comments on her skin tone. She had to quit and come back to indian because she was only a teenage child facing backlash just for being a hindu in oxford.

children out of wedlock is still considered bad in Indian culture, otherwise what is the difference between an animal and a human being
@phoenixkitty8609

I dont believe that is the only 'distinguishing' feature. Infact humans have the awareness to determine their own choices. Every human has their own will and they can make choices s they prefer, the only caveat being that we will have o live to see their consequences. There is no cosmic rule that only kids born from a marriage are 'good' , nor that kids born out of wedlock are all 'evil'. That depends on the limits of the mind that is percieving or observing something. good and bad is our definition. What about the kid? He/She too is divine consciousness born into circumstances outside his/her control? People consider it bad because we have set up our society with certain agreements and ideas of how our community should be. But that conflicts with free will. I believe things are not so simple as 'good' or 'bad'. Just my 2 cents. As a psychologist I see the variety of perspectives, and I find every person's experience unique. Our judgements reflect limits of our own mind

Hinduism is the way of life when everything is perfect and people can live in harmony with its surrounding. But when environment is challenging it fails miserably. Islamic invasion had demolished hinduism completely. Hinduism been exposed how weak it is and how dangerous to pursue it for any society.

My dear, the words Success and Failure are ment to explain the results that you seek , but not to determine the work done. For your kind information Hinduism is based on many concepts among which Dharma and Karma are two of those concepts. Please remember that Dharma is the one which you have to do to fulfill the responsibilities as a being , and Karma is the one which you have to accept as the result of the work that you did. According to Hinduism there is neither Success nor Failure. Neither birth nor death.

Mc how many Indian have seen Manusmriti. This statement is used by Christian and Muslim, who want to defame Hinduism , dalit who do not want to loose reservation policy , some Brahmins who want to prove superiority on the basis of birth which is against the principles of Bhagavad Gita and Rig Veda.

Well sir both stories you said are written by man's imagination. Ramayana and Bhagavad-Gita was man's imagination to fix men's issues. There is no rama or krishna. The root is in Toolkapiam where the root of rama or krishna starts with Mayon. Well sir you need to search for the true facts. If you need invite me to narrate the root of all roots.
