I like the not carved side of the first tree as the front. That tree is awesome! I really like it.

Definitely, the first front with the great nebari is the "no brainer" front, as the tree itself leans forward to it. This is a fabulous tree with lots of potential.

Yes i think i have made my decision that one will be the front🙂

Nice collection, my dude! 🤜🤛 I just started my business styling trees and shrubs in a bonsai style. In the future I want to be selling trees and making and selling pots. My first customer is dropping off a Norfolk Island Pine this afternoon. I'm looking forward to doing it.

Looking for some thoughts on this, I’ve tried to bonsai boxwoods from the big box stores and they seem to do great initially and then all of a sudden get random dieback of whole sections of the tree. It’s so frustrating. I’ve seen stuff on the internet about boxwood dying back. Any thoughts?
@lifeofbonsai2 ай бұрын
Hello i had this happen once, what work do you do to them? Full root prune or any other things?
@DavidSmith-yk6li2 ай бұрын
@@lifeofbonsai they had been partially root pruned, repotted and protected in recovery and then had been growing great outside for a couple months already and then just randomly get dieback. They hadn’t been under any ‘extreme stress’. Maybe that’s just boxwoods. Now anyway I just keep them in mostly partial shade, I can only theorize they can’t take full sun as the summer is approaching and pay real close attention to not giving too much water, I think letting them almost dry out works for them.

@@DavidSmith-yk6li yes that has worked for me not watering too often helps alot. Same happened with one i had i was watering a bit too much and did the same thing as yours. I would probably do morning sun and then protect it from the strong sun
