Amazingly emotional episode! Kendall vs Rava. Roman vs Gerri. Tom vs Shiv. The only healthy and REAL relationship on this show is Conner and Willa.

That's funny. Conner is a total simp who is trying to buy some respectability running a ridiculous presidential campaign, and buying full time companionship with a prostitute. Wouldn't call that a healthy and real relationship.

There’s something off about this Ebba character and how easy she opened up to ken/Roman on one hand and then a few minutes later she’s sitting on couch next to Madson, smiling whine chatting with him. I’m wondering if this is a set up of some sort?!? Feeding all this information to the other side but I’m not sure why? They also just found out through their investigator about his antics towards Ebba with sending her blood and other things, something just feels wrong with all of it and how they are finding out. Great episode and final 3 will be awesome, can’t wait!

Remember when Amazon Prime thought its lord of the Rings would be better than HBO's House of the Dragon. HBO is in a different league when it comes to quality home entertainment. House of the Dragon, Last of Us, Succession, Watchman, White Lotus, etc... At this point, Netflix and Amazon are just Walmart and HBO MAX is Norstrom.

I don’t care how much Greg is getting paid, I will never want to be him. There is no way my pride will allow me to be talked to the way people talk to Greg-like a dog. And no one is blowing smoke in my face and I’ll just take it with a smile. I wouldn’t want to be Greg for all the whiskey in Ireland.

Did anyone notice that Kendall says “I’m doing this for my kids, everything for them” and his ex calls bs. But that’s exactly the type of comments Logan would make - that everything he did was for his kids. Which is a delusional lie and now Kendall is becoming his dad. Generational trauma repeating

Glad to have found your channel! Great recap! Succession fascinates me for it's probably all too accurate portrayal of one percenters as the truly despicable people they are. Greg takes the cake, especially in this episode! After that it's Roman, then Tom. What a snake pit!

So many moves going on in this episode. I kind of loved the balcony talk with Shiv & Tom. For as vial as it was, it looked kind of like therapy for them. Looks like Ken is becoming the killer his father wanted him to be. But he will probably screw it up in the end. Election next episode and we haven't even gotten to the funeral for Logan. Eeek.

Shiv is so unaware of her own flaws as a human being. Truly, no acknowledgement, at all. I dont see how Tom can be blamed for her not seeing her father for the last 6 months of his life. He's 80!!! How much time did she think she had??? She is so selfish and frankly, psychopathic. Her treatment of Tom is cruel and unusual. She has never had the courage to stand up for her husband. I was married and I know what that is like. Its death by a thousand cuts. At first, you think they are missteps, or your interpretation of the situation is wrong. You tell yourself that the person you love, couldn't be this cruel. Then, one day you realize that you're a giant nothing burger. Your life is a fraud. The future you wanted, is never going to happen. Then one day,. out of nowhere. It all implodes. By then, you have no more feelings. You're no longer fighting to be together. Divorce is coming. They are the enemy. This episode, is so perfect.

I feel like Mattson and Ebba might be playing the Roys and that their numbers are just fine. It's a small chance but you know the show's been full of surprises. P.s. I hope to see the siblings lose it all in the end though🤞

Well done. Did you put this whole thing together since the ep aired or do they give them to you early? In any case, I think this was the best Succession ep I've seen - put together like a swiss watch and the acting! Sarah Snook absolutely nailed it. She even almost accomplished the impossible - making me root for a Roy. *Almost*. By the end she was so cruel that I started hating her again.

Yup, I knew she was going to punish him for seeing her as a scorpion. All of the Roy children swing from being insecure and desperate for love, approval, and respect to being petty, vindictive, verbally abusive, cruel, and monumentally selfish.

@@mjw1111 Her come back during their fight (paraphrasing) Tom here’s a dead snake for a neck time … why aren’t you laughing ? Huh why ? It so was not funny, him giving her that. Being pregnant vulnerable etc and the man she is thinking of trusting ( for lack of better word) gives her that gift = mis step. If he knew she was pregnant - that gift wod not have happened. ( aside from that little bit of venting - concur with your assessment)

Who don’t have any proof. People keep talking about this. Logan literally had people raped etc on his cruises and paid for coverups but without enough proof. Nothing came of it. Will be the same with Kendall.

@@brodssn Kendall is only where he's at because of the board, the board will ask Kendall to step down if any kind of scandal comes up to hurt their profits, Kendall being demoted would be the worst type of punishment to him.

I think Greg will take all! His character has always been a bit odd to me. Logan was never really mean to him and it’s sutra he now he just shows up and even though Logan is dead now, his tile has gotten even bigger within the company. He’s stupid- like a fox

I agree, I think the fact that his grandfather is a major shareholder in the company may turn out to give Greg some leverage that enables him to have a decisive influence on the final outcome of the story. Also that scene with Greg talking about being good at firing people may be a subtle pointer to what he may do if he somehow gets his hands on the reigns of power at Waystar.
