What he says about depression 20 minutes in is astoundingly true. I changed my lifestyle and it really works. After taking anti d's for almost 10 years I had enough. God bless this man for getting this information out there

Dr Daniel Amen, you're one of the very best. I can't tell you how much I love your talks. Luckily, I have the inclination to listen but a lot of people don't seem to care, unfortunately, (for themselves). I particularly watch this video a lot and each time it takes less time to watch the video because I skip the parts that are lodged in my head !! Thank you for sharing this valuable information.

I wish we had this in South Africa. Full time worker and part time studying and making time for to the gym can be a real challenge. On top of that I have a battle with bipolar disorder. All I can do is start eating healthier from my side. This man has real knowledge about this topic and people need to take it seriously.

Elize Roodt yes you can eat healthier. But you can find time to exercise anywhere. Use you tube to guide you in almost any exercise you like. You don’t need fancy equipment or studios.

I do squats, pushups and crunches it take me 8 minutes to do. You can do it. You also may try burpees

My step mom use to crochet all the time and keep her brain active socializing etc.. she had a sharp mind at 84. She passed from cigarettes but otherwise would have lived long I bet! She watched her wait too.

they say if your grandparents lived long you will live long too. My grandfather in Italy drank his wine at every meal and smoke his cigarettes all in moderation, my grand father used to say all in moderation and exercise and he died at 101 years old because my grandma before him. they were mare 76 years

Rose J Dance is a bit different from exercise. A mental explosion from the mind that works its way down into your body to the tips of your fingers to the balls of your feet. A lot more going on.

4:12 onwards... low blood flow cafeeine, nicoteine sugary foods heart disease lack of exercise what you can do: ginko, exercise wherever possible during the day (park further from the shops and walk the extra distance) learning new skills keeps brain blood flow optiimum. Learn to crochet or knit (helps the brain) if you have joint pain or muscle pain, then you have inflammation probs: high risk factor right thereremedy: omega 3 fish oil and mulitvitamin suppp everyday leaky gut is a major cause of probs: take a probiotic that works ie fermented foods Its your HABITS that create tendency towards or away from health. summary: excersixe and the right foods are a big part of the answer

Learning...? I watch/listen a ton of videos on youtube that are informative and educational which I'm learning something new everyday. Excerise- just today I biked 54 miles in 5 hours lmao I recently bought a bike to relieve stress and listen to videos like this. Before quarantine I was lifting weights Diet- MY FLAW, i drink too much sugar I'm super aware of this but cutting out is hard. Also caffeine which I cut back a lot. I been having OCD recently watching a ton of videos to overcome this as well.
