"Welcome to OTJ, where your opponents are on the play and curve out perfectly" Even when they aren't on the play, they sometimes play two-drop, Murder, Akul, Rakdos Joins Up. That curveout was so tight it gave me motion sickness.

26:25 Wouldn't you in theory have another turn to live if you used Lively Dirge to tutor and play an Akul, then you could block whatever they equipped Gold Pan to? Assuming they don't have anything to interact of course.

this is my favorite deck in the format, baron is very much worth it. the amount of treasures we overlook makes him an easy splash too. mine raider and the 4 drop outlaw that sacks an outlaw to make a treasure is very good. with vial smasher to easy crime off of baron trigger, its just gross.

Since you asked.... Rakish has the long "a." It's a derivative of the word "rake," meaning "a dissolute person." (It's a bit of an archaic term.) "Rakish" meaning "having or displaying a dashing, jaunty, or slightly disreputable quality or appearance."

Kymbal gets a bad rap, but he hard counters token win-cons. i think he's underrated because he's such a strong deterrent, you never really see him do work.
