Hello.....sorry for watching this 8 years later lol....I am very new to EPP. I have been quilting for 25 years but never really wanted to try this. I have decided I need something to do while sitting in my car while hubby and I are driving long distances. Decided to just do it. I literally just recieved my 1in hexagon papers in the mail yesterday. I also have just subscribed to your channel just now. Love your tutorials. Thank you and God bless

Thank you Sue. I really appreciate the help I got with the six pointed star. I live in London and you are far away in Australia and it just seems amazing how you came into my home and helped me!! Thank you.

Thank you for the tutorials. I love that block with the three hexagons and the diamonds around the perimeter. I have embraced English Paper Piecing as a result of your glue pen and paper method as I never wanted to baste as you say who has time for that??

Thanks for your classes they are so helpful. I wish you were able to do close-ups of the different procedures. For example, a close-up of The Knicker knot would be very helpful.

Iron with the papers in and leave them in until you are ready to applique it to the background. This will help it to hold it shape.

Hello, love your videos! Question: I am making a 6 pointed star with hexagons between each. I have all my stars assembled and started to sew the quilt together. I am wondering if there is a easy/simple way to sew it all together. I have one strip done and wonder if I should make strips with hexes on one side then sew strips together or is there a better way. Thank you

I have a question? how do you plan out your quilt design, wall hanging, etc. You showed us a small section that you put together of hexies. Did you make each diamond shape then lay them out and choose how to arrange them? Or do you plan on paper then sew the hexies together in rows?

Hi Debbie, Most of my designs are a combination of different shapes and I design as I go. Feel free to find a way that suits your creativity.

Sue I am making the pattern It Takes Two. When I finish the ring and take out the papers the top arch won't keep its shape and is hard to iron. The rings will be appliqued to a background. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

My star buckles in the middle point...I know the video is older but does anyone know how I can avoid this problem? I have the points going in the same direction but my material is much shorter...could it be that my seam allowance is too narrow and it's bulking?

Why do you leave a tail at the end when you do your knicker knot? I hear you keep saying to make sure and leave a tail but I’m wondering why and how much of a tail i need?

Hello Sue, I am a new to this and very interested but I am unable to find stockiest in the UK and buying from Australia or the USA is prohibitive because of the postal charges. If you do have UK stockiest could I have the details please.

I have a questions... I am in Brazil, and it's both hard to find the pre cut shapes and import those is quite expensive. can I remove the papers (after sewing )and reuse in the same project ?

Aline Martins I'm in the U.S., I get my papers from paperpieces.com, I re-use mine several times ... especially on the ones that have been stitched and not glued.

Hi Kerryn, my stitches are around 1.5mm apart, so roughly 14-16 stitches per inch.
