To this day I never understood why people say Mawlid is a bidah or innovation. My local masjid said they will be hosting a mawlid event so I went and they recited some Qur'an, they spoke about the life of the Messenger (PBUH) and then gave everyone some fruits and stuff I don't see how that's bad or misguidance.

Indeed, he's a blessing and a gift of Allah Subhana Wa Taala for all of us, the Ahle Sunnat wa Jamaat. Sitting in Zurich, Switzerland, I was also present with all of you enjoying the beautiful session culminating with the beautiful Duaa offered by our renowned, dear and respected Sheikh. So that you know my Brothers and Sisters, I'm also a Qadri (Ahmeduddin Qadri) and I have known our respected Hafiz Saheb for over a year now and I get all of problems and worries solved by our revered, dynamic and young Shaikh. الخصائص الصغریٰ میں ہے کہ ہمارے نبئ اکرم ﷺ شریعت وحقیقت کے جمیع کمالات کے جامع ہیں ۔ دیوبندی وہابی اور سنّی (بریلوی) کے اختلاف کا موجب اصلی یہی امر ہے۔ اہلسنت اپنے نبی کریم ﷺ کے باطنی کمالات کے جامع ہونے کے نہ صرف قائل بلکہ آپ کے ایسے امور کے اثبات میں بھرپور دلائل قائم کرتے ہیں اور وہ لوگ ایسے کمالات کے نہ صرف منکر ہیں بلکہ ایسے کمالات باطنیہ کے قائل کو کافر ومشرک کہتے ہیں۔ اس حقیقت سے عوام کو بے بہرہ رکھ کر نزای مسائل کھڑے کرادئیے۔ اہلِ اسلام خود انصاف فرمائیں کہ کون حق پر ہے؟ 📚 تفسیر روح البیان ؛ پارہ ۱۶ جلد ۸ صفحہ ۵، ۶ ارشاد نبوی ہے: ستفترق امتی ثلثا و سبعین فرقۃً، کلہم فی النار الاواحدۃ عنقریب میری امت تہتر فرقوں میں تقسیم ہوجائے گی، سوائے ایک کے سب جہنمی ہوں گے صحابہ عرض گزار ہوئے: من ہم یارسول اﷲ وہ نجات پانے والے لوگ کون ہوں گے یارسول اﷲﷺ ارشاد فرمایا: ما انا علیہ واصحابی جس پر میں اور میرے صحابہ ہیں 📚 ترمذی جلد 2 صفحہ 92 دوسری روایت میں ہے : ہم الجماعۃ (ابو داؤد) وہ جماعت ہوگی احیاء علوم الدین الغزالی میں ہے: ہم اہل السنۃ والجماعۃ (احیاء العلوم) وہ اہل سنت و جماعت ہوں گے امام علی قاری حنفی مکی، شیخ عبدالحق محدث دہلوی، غوث اعظم جیلانی، مجدد الف ثانی امام زینی دحلان مکی، سید یوسف بن اسماعیل مدنی، امام شامی، امام حصکفی ، امام احمد رضا حنفی رحمہم اﷲ کا اتفاق ہے کہ نجات یافتہ گروہ ’’اہل سنت جماعت‘‘ ہے اس کے سوا فرقے گمراہ، گمراہ گر اور ان میں بعض سرحد دین سے نکل کر اور ضروریات دین کا انکار کرکے کافر و مرتد ہوچکے ہیں۔ اب جب یہ واضح ہوچکا ہے کہ اسلام کے تہتر فرقوں میں سے ’’اہل سنت و جماعت‘‘ ہی اہل حق اور صحیح العقیدہ راسخ مسلمان افراد ہیں، ان کے عقائد و نظریات اسلام کے مطابق ہیں اور ان کے علاوہ دیگر فرقے خوارج و روافض و غیرہما گمراہ ہیں تو اسی نجات یافتہ گروہ کے عقائد کے مطابق عقائد اپنانا لازم ہوا۔
