@@jackjill8129t was both. Eiht said in the interview that the flames of the beef were fanned on both sides by members of their entourage saying stuff like “when he says that line, he’s coming at you,” probably motivated by the fact that the other rapper was from the other side. They squashed it once they realized what was going on and that they had no problem with each other other than what their fellow affiliates kept feeding them in their ear.

I grew up in that hood, rumor had it that we lived a few blocks away from Suge Knights moms house. I wasn’t into rap music as a teenager but all those rap dudes still hung out there just like MC Eiht said. I didn’t know who they were and honestly I didn’t care but all my lil friends made a big deal of the rappers visiting our block. I remember DJ quick playing football with us. I remember seeing bone thugs hanging out at the lil homie Lamar’s house blasting funk music all day. I remember Suge driving by as we played football on the street and giving us cash. We spent all that money playing arcades at the Compton swap meet. My neighbor Lamar and his family suddenly moved away one day, I believe his uncle was in the music business because he always had rap artist over at his house. I never seen them again. That neighborhood gave me some good memories. As a Latino kid growing up in that hood, the bloods never gave us kids a hard time. They let us be kids during the day time. At night tho, it sounded like the 4th of July 😂
