Who in the world could dare to sing ; " man tarpat hari darshan ko aaj" ,or " O dunya kay Rakhwaly", with such mastery and devotion. Nevertheless, I do respect your opinion.

ये गीत बचपन से सुनते आ रहें हैं।उस समय भी दिल को एक अजीब सी सुकून मिलता था और आज भी जब इस गीत को सुनता हूँ तो वहीं बचपन वाला सुकून मिलता हैं। जो दिल को सुकून पहुँचाने वालें गीत, संगीत, गायक थे चले गए किन्तु अपनी अनमोल धरोहर छोड़ गए। अब तो ना वे गीतकार, ना वे संगीतकार और ना हीं वे गायक रह गए हैं। भुले बिसरे यादें हीं रह गए हैं

Maybe Rafi sahib was remembering his parents especially his mother who choosed to reside in Pakistan after Pakistan's separation from India and never came back to Rafi Sahab ever. Here unknown fact is Rafi sahab was also the master of personality and humanity, he did not leave his homeland and had never met his parents ever it wasn't out of ego but love for homeland.
