You see, I too experienced hardship once, therefore all my killings don't matter & I should be seen as the victim...it was stupid. He never even seemed to want to go back to space despite being able to communicate through others, and he seemed to want to dominate a city more than anything else

I started crying with the little detail of ratcatcher 2 holding onto bloodsport and consoling him while the rats ran over. Things like that make me care incredibly hard for characters

They also use a ton of energy (they have a basal metabolic rate more than six times faster than a human). So the poor things need to sleep a lot so they don't starve (unless they're in an extremely food rich environment I suppose).

Another detail: in the credits when the rats come by, one is credited as Crisp Ratt. This is obviously a reference to Star Lord.

That's not a reference to Star Lord, there are actually two rats actors that played Sebastian, one is named Jaws while the other is named Crisp Rat, it's just a coincidence

I love how Harley using the Javelin shows how inept Javelin was going to be with it, seeing as his first idea of an attack against multiple targets with ranged automatic weapons was to get out of cover and try an throw his only singular weapon at them.

a missable detail i think i noticed is that when peacemaker and flag were fighting peacemaker fell over backwards and his head landed in the center of a toilet calling back how bloodsport said he wore a toilet seat on his head

Rick Flag was great in this one - really impressed with Ratcatcher 2 as well. Was pleasantly surprised by how little they focused on Harley. Not a fan of John Cena but he killed it as Peacemaker. Definitely one of the better films to come out in the past few years.

Honestly i felt bad for starro it’s final words are heartbreaking but the one that got me the most is even one of the starro says “he had his way with me” along with the look from the thinker seemingly implying that the thinker had sexually assaulted people who were being controlled by starro

The helmet shot is most likely a fun vfx trick. My guess is that they shot the fighting from a low angle, then projected the footage onto a cgi helmet with a "reflective" surface to "hide" the camera.

I also like the fact that Bloodsport was like Captain America in the first Avengers movie. For example, Bloodsport commanding King Shark to "nom nom" is like Captain America saying "smash" to Hulk. :)

I like how they set up savants character like dead shot like he was gonna make it thru at least til the end of the movie n did a complete 180 right at the start, even had Harley on his team like they were the main guys 😂 Side note: I like how it didn’t mainly focus on Harley n had a sort of equal following of all the characters Also like how they weren’t scared to kill most of the main people even people who survived the past movie And another is I like how they kind of tricked us that king shark was gonna die multiple times 😂😂

I feel like there is a deeper meaning to the helmet scene Peacemaker said his helmet is a “beacon of freedom” and the soul purpose he disagrees with flag is to have “freedom” symbolizing why he is fighting also he did say he would kill anyone to get it

Also notice how once he started to oppose freedom by attacking Flagg he left his helmet on the ground and never picked it back up. He was no longer fighting for freedom, he was actively suppressing freedom for bad interests.

You missed a cool one, when Starro breaks free and grabs the Thinker, he spreads his limbs so he looks like a star. This probably symbolizes how they were connected except for the pain that Thinker made him feel so now Starro is making that real by killing him.

The reason they are so similar is because Bloodsport was originally going to be deadshot. Idris elba was going to play deadshot instead of will because of schedule conflicts but they decided to change him to bloodsport to let will come back later. They didnt change the story for him what so ever which is why he even has a daughter like deadshot the only thing they changed was the dialouge because he has a differnt name than deadshot

Bloodsport and Peacemaker are both left-handed, but when Peacemaker is going to kill Ratcatcher 2, he is not using his dominant hand.

@@maxamillion2140 Same here. Peacemaker writes with his left in the briefing and Bloodsport holds his beer with the left as well. Both showoff killing the rebels using their right hand. It's almost seems that when forced, he reverted to his natural way, in order to save an innocent life.

Anybody else feel like the Lil guys that attack nanue are a reference to the chubb chubbs? Cute little critters that actually have rows of teeth capable of devouring large objects and people? Or just a foil to king shark in general? A big lumbering Brute looking for friends and cute cuddly creatures looking for food?

i don’t think this has any merit to the comics, but my first thought was that they were lantern fish. they were yellow, green, orange, red and violet just like the rings, and we’ve got starro as the big bad, thought it was what they were going for but probably just a subtle omage.

I liked how in the shot of them all in the rain, they play the song “hey” by The Pixies. The song features the repeating lyrics “We’re chained,” in GoTG2 in a shot that features the guardians walking away they play “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac, “I can still hear you saying you will never break the chain”.

It's like everytime a character comes close to having good morals or becoming a hero, you know they're about to die. It happened with Flagg, and then Polkadot's ironic death (being that the second he doesn't want to die and enjoys being a hero... *S p l a t)*

The suicide squad was a pretty good movie. I noticed in the end credits they listed nether realm studios in the special thanks section. Makes me wonder if they had helped out with some of the gore effects in the film.

three weeks late but in the beginning of the movie when they’re making a joke about Peacemaker being the same as Bloodsport shows that Waller has a different reason for Peacemaker being on the team than versatility.

My friend said something that kinda had me think, after the beach scene it showed all the characters that "messed up" Bloodsport's cleaning, they were all on the losing team. What if bloodsport was aware of the two teams and picked those characters. Savants hair, black guards shoe remnants, and weasel licking the window.
