it was their goal at all times. It's literally leaked with dialogue and all. There's no need to 'speculate'. It's downright confirmed and known. Just gotta search a bit, because they keep removing the dialogue, but there's voicelines in the data where flash talks of being resurrected and saved by the villains. Same for green lantern.

@@ThinIce103 Leakers who datamined the alpha and leaked everything in the base game 100% accuracy. On the game's subreddit there have been voice clips posted that were found in the game's code that are from characters who are supposed to be dead.

Another little detail I picked up, is when u meet brainiac for the first time he say to the SS, “how did u kill MY Justice League” maybe I’m reading too much into it, but why didn’t he just say The Justice League, probably wrong but I thought I’d mention it

Fun fact: as soon as evil flash start to talk, i stopped the game and think where did i hear that annoying voice. I think and think and i remembered. Its heimdal's voice actor😅 his voice is awesome for villian characters

There were leaks that showed that they are still alive. I mean, like you said, all the boss fights were anticlimactic. All batman did was brag and call out the suicide squad over and over but when his boss fight came, he just went down really easy and stupidly for a guy who beat you up without using fear gas at the beginning. Also, flash finger were back to normal when he turned evil, which is plain to know you weren't fighting the real flash. Also, I heard that when the invasion happened, batman told the league that it was a trap. The justice league went up to the ship willingly to talk to braniac, it's why in the audio logs you find you hear the citizens wondering why the league went up there but hasn't come out yet and why the ship hasn't done anything for awhile. Batman is too smart to get captured easily without a plan.

Also, about Batman's "death" on the park bench. Harley says, "You're still too good." What if Batman knows that deep down and couldn't stand himself killing all those people and Let Harley "kill" him off. He wouldn't wanna continue to kill more people. I mean Batman was just laying there. Maybe still had enough power to take the gun away. Probably reading too much into it but who knows 🤷

Yeah I agree, if this was the real Batman and not a clone then he could have easily snatched the gun away and used it to kill Harley and the other Squad members in seconds but he didn't, I think a part of Batman was still in there fighting the control and he let himself die to stop himself

Games like this record their dialogue all at once for all planned content. This game was originally supposed to come out in October 2022, one month before Kevin Conroy died. They 100% had him record stuff for Batman after he returns.

The thing that made me believe it wasn't really them was when braniac said when he caught the suicide squad, "How did you defeat "my" justice league?" I know that's not exactly to a T what he said but anyone who either played or watched the game play knows what I'm talking about, just made me think that in the game you killed his justice league clones and is why he asked how they defeated "his" justice league

I've heard the leaks and I'm damn hyped!! BATMAN IS RETURNING. Amazing Find by The Goat Batman Arkham Videos. But for me when the "Kill" the league in the game. I think they "killed" them off that way on purpose cause they knew they were returning. I wouldn't like it if they actually had good deaths like WonderWoman only to bring them back after have such a good "death" scene. So it think for me anyways it's better that it was anticlimactic. But I'm hyped for the Justice Leagues return

This is what I kept telling everybody!! I knew something felt off when we encountered the justice league plus it just makes no sense for rocksteady and WB to do that to their most popular characters and leave them dead in one of their most popular continuities that had barely explored the larger DC world! WB said they want longevity in there properties and that includes DC and the Arkhamverse! We just had to wait!

it is more likely bad writing. What should have happened is at the end you find out Brainiac was control of the suicide squad as well and is just doing tests. No one is actually dying. or Brainiac admits he is sending weak versions of the team to see what kind or resistance can be put against the justice league. Basically to see what the full power versions can do against the rest of the universe when the time comes.

I wish they wouldn't be stretching out the main story throughout DLC chapters. Like you said, it's causing them a lot of bad press if the real Justice League is alive but we don't know yet. Something like what Avengers game did by doing standalone DLC stories that are not tied to the main campaign, like the Hawkeye two-parter and the Black Panther one (which was when the game peaked imo) would be fun

Despite how the kills were executed, like Caboose said, I gotta give my hats off to Rocksteady for not only still showing they're the kings/queens of placing very clever easter eggs but for me how the title feels like a comic headliner you'd see when a character is getting killed off for whatever reason only to eventually be brought back at some point, maybe even an entire decade.

Honestly, if Batman really DID die, which he obviously didn't, I'm glad it was like that. Because we need to remember, BATMAN IS JUST A NORMAL MAN. Not a super powered individual like Superman, Flash or Green Lantern. I think it just shows that no matter what, at the end of the day, regardless of what people think or say about this, we're all just human. We'll have our good days, which would be the Arkham games, and we have our bad, which would be Bruce's "death" in this game.

It was actually nice to see. I already feel like Arkham Batman gets wanked too much anyway. He somehow defeated both Deathstroke and Shiva in Origins. Its just goes to show that the player makes the characters look stronger than they should be in video games.

Game development doesn't work that way, especially for a live service. A full playable character, cosmetics, weapons, and area coming out a month after launch is a prime example. They already have four seasons like that planned and the game only just launched. They're obviously meant to come back, we're just getting the story over a longer period of time

The fact that we’ve only seen the first 10 hours of the story with so much more on the way, plus the fact that this is *comic book* logic where no stays dead makes it so tragically hilarious to me to see people raging about the story so hard. I’m like…you know it ain’t ending here right? My two cents: I believe the TJL are clones theory all except for Wonder Woman since she was never captured and she had the only death in the game that had any fanfare behind it leading me to believe it was legitimate. All the others fell flat because they were purposeful fake outs.

The Suicide Squad game did the Arkham Batman very dirty and I can't believe this is Kevin Conroy's LAST performance. There should have been a Batman Beyond game because it would be a proper sendoff for the man who has acted as the Arkham Batman for many years. This was a wasted chance overall.

Allegedly Kevin has 2 more VA roles with Batman. Also even if there wasn’t this isn’t a bad place to stop. It’s pretty obvious Kevin had a blast with playing an evil Batman. He really sounded like he enjoyed doing the lines. So if Kevin enjoyed this gig so much I don’t see it as being a bad thing if this was his last performance. Sure the game itself is mid but if Kevin enjoyed doing the voice work that’s all that matters.

I am happy that Kevin Konroy was able to voice the Batman 1 last time. Nice that the Nightfall protocol was not his last time in this universe. He got to stand with the Justice League! That’s just incredible! Seeing Rogues up against what the Heroes would generally stand against is a neat touch. I will miss Kevin Konroy forever… He may be gone, yet his legacy will stand forever. Hope the JLA will return in good time. Who knows the Heroes & Villains could join forces to face a greater foe. All the best for everyone.

I feel like they have no other way of continuing the story, but like this. Of course, do your regular stuff of introducing the Joker, and having his own story, but slowly build up to the Justice League’s return over each dlc episode. I truly think it would be an interesting story.

I've read many reviews from professional critics, and even when they're giving low scores and trashing the game (mostly for the live service aspect), pretty much all of the ones i've seen have said the story/writing is well done.

If flash is fused with brainiac dna he would still be alive because branic said he can regenerate, but also, he has fast healing as the flash. It could also be why green K didn't work on Superman because of Braniac DNA. I still feel we can save them.

*Sigh* here we go. Batman isn’t coming back, nor are the Justice league members from our world. At best it will be elseworlds that offer us help. I could see us gathering a Neo-Justice League made up of people like Terry McGinnis’s Batman, Superboy, Power Girl, Kid Flash, etc to help us take out the final (and what I assume to be the most powerful) variant of Braniac. I know you all feel like the characters were done dirty and that Kevin Conroy was treated poorly in particular, but that’s just the game. Personally I like playing as the Suicide Squad as it shows how the people we used to beat up without a second thought in games like Arkham Asylum felt, and lowkey if the suicide squad lost in the game, people would just say “DC is giving Batman plot armor so they can milk his ip more” and complain anyways. TL;DR, Batman can come back, just not the one we want. Warner Bros can’t revive the dead, no matter how much they spend.
