I'm still baffled that they create Gold Kryptonite from the mutated part of Batman's DNA. That just doesn't even add up. Plus, if Brainiac is controlling them, why would killing Batman draw out Superman. Ugh, the frustration builds

Most pathetic death ever, couldn’t even send Superman out in a cool way. At the very least Wonder Woman and Batman had cutscenes

13:15 WW only one to resist the corruption? I never got the impression that Brainiac brainwashed and corrupted WW. If Lois just means that she was the only one who fought the JL, did she not pay attention at the start of the game when Flash was beat to a pulp trying to save everybody before he was captured and corrupted?

We need another full arkham series playthrough as a palette cleanser after this game series.

I think there are audio logs that put more context into the story of the game, including interactions with the justice league before the invasion. Unsure how you would get them, but I suspect that maybe it could be tied to Riddler.

Harley said, loading the clip into her gun. "Going around, punching criminals, scaring the pants off us. Betcha neva' thought it'd be ME at the end, didja? Yea, me neither. Always figured that'd be J at the end, saving his last joke for you. Then, we'd laugh & fly off into the sunset in your jet, police choppers after us." She chuckled. "Ever think about him? See, I didn't just lose him once, ya know, or twice." To emphasize, she Harley held up her hand. "Five times. Sure. He may have been poisonous for me, maybe I put more into it then he ever would. Heck, that's what all the doctors would say... what Harleen would say... but you. You know what he meant to me anyways, but not once thought to come visit?" The Batman stared coldly from the purple glow in his eyes, unmoved. "Yea. I guess this fake you wouldn't care too much about it. Which is why we brought a lil' somethin' for ya." Deadshot pulled out Wonder Woman's lasso, whipped it tightly around the dark knight, and nodded to Harley. The Bat stared. "Are we about done with this bad stand up routine?" "Almost." Harley said. "The real joke would be letting you bite it as someone's errand boy. After everything we threw atcha?! Fat chance! You're about to do what you do best and fight back skull face's control. So how about a little truth, Bruce?" Before their eyes, the glowing influence of Brainiac left Batman's now exhausted face. "The truth." He repeated. "In order to protect you all, I cut every last tie I had. Burned every bridge to be something more for Gotham... The world needed to believe Bruce Wayne burned with Batman." "And AFTER the big red & blue boy scout brought you out into the lime light again?" "By then it was already too late..." Bruce began, while Harley simply bowed & shook her head. "It's not too late for you four. The world needs something new to defend her now. Something the Justice League cannot be anymore." Harley was silent as she walked towards Bruce, gun behind her back, & and one free hand to grab the back of his head to embrace him with. "Hard to remember I used to be psychiatrist, isn't it, after everything we've been through. Let's you & me do an exercise together." She caressed the back of his head. "Close your eyes, Bruce." Gently, she kissed the top of his cowl and backed away with her steps... Once she watched his eyes rest shut, Harley carried on. "I want you to picture yourself back at Monarch Theater. It's your typical rainy night. The show inside is giving you a little fright. So much so you want to leave." Slowly, she pulled her gun out from behind her back. Somberly, she aimed the gun at his head. "But you don't. Your little hand squeezes your dad's arm. All it takes is a warm smile from him & your mommy to tough through it. You were so brave and got to walk out with all the grown ups, passing right on by Crime Alley. Your butler is there, making a sassy joke to your dad. There's a big old smile on your face. It's a happy life. Every step of the way, there your parents are. Attending football games, maybe some spelling bee's, dressing ya up for ya first date, reluctantly letting you leave for college, and sitting there with the biggest smile on their faces the day you're sayin' your vowls to a lucky lady." There was a face waiting for Bruce behind the veil, Selina's face. "You & this gal share a loving kiss before a crowd, but it's not the end, not yet. A new beginning starts for you & your new family. Couple little kids are running around. Then, one day, while you get to fill the parental role, you find yourself having to bury your old butler first. It's bittersweet, but your family is there for strength. Then, it's your mom on her death bed. She's worried your hugs will kill her faster than the cancer. Finally, it's your dad's turn. Ya got a hand for each for them and follow them through the gates... right into the light." One shot was heard through the light. King Shark placed his hand over Harley's shoulder. Harley reached up & slowly placed her hand over his. "Allowing dignity to the fall of your greatest enemy. Perhaps the God's will remember this choice, when they come to judge your misdeads." Rain finally lifted alongside the burst of clouds as figure revealed himself in the sky, wind blowing through his crimson cape. Superman. "One of worlds finest... brought down by you? We always disagreed on methods, but I saw Bruce as my best friend. You already saw what I'm willing to do to my friends... What do you think I'm willing to do to do to you???" A gold boomerang flew around & was caught in Clark's hand before it could strike his head. What he didn't count on was the blood that soon dripped from his hand. Everyone hand their guns out for the man of steel, all but Boomerang, whom had out a pair of middle fingers.

While i don't like the story that much, I'm loving the gameplay. Harley and Boomer's traversal is fun af when you master it in combat. I'm very sorry that you dont like this game KWing, hopefully RS can bring you back cuz you make amazing vids about the Arkham series

I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I think the why they end Batman is the only way they cold of do it. Think about it a gunshot was the reason Batman was born so it only makes sense for a gunshot to be his end, brings it full circle. This is if this Batman is the real Batman, because when flash got his finger later on the mind control flash has all of his fingers, and that anointing green rock that they used in every movie and comic with super man doesn’t affect him in the way that it should.

I'll be honest. Those scenes where Harley was carrying Batman or punched him when he was strapped to the gurney, those scenes could've been handled a lot worse. Harley was clearly struggling to lift Bruce *_and_* his armor, and only refused help out of stubbornness, and because she wanted payback for when _she_ was carried away like that. And when Harley punched out Batman: 1) He was already wounded and tired, on top of being strapped to a gurney unable to defend himself; and 2) while Harley did knock him out, she was visibly hurt or sore from punching Batman head on. (I'm no expert, but apparently you can't always punch someone in the head or chin all willy-nilly.) So in a sense, those are scenes where Harley is shown *_not_* to be flawless, and capable of doing anything without help. *But...* and this is my inner pessimist speaking, (along with my admitted hypersensitivity to things resembling wokeness circa 2019 - *_thanks for that_* Hollywood and Modern AAA-Gaming 😑), I have a feeling that someone at Sweet Baby Inc. or 2020's Rocksteady had to be *_coerced_* into showing Harley in such vulnerable states.

Respect you a lot for playing this game. Think my biggest problem with this game (storywise) is none of us know anyone in the Justice League besides Arkham Batman. (Considering this game is set in Arkham universe, they never took the time to properly introduce the rest of League in their own respective games. Its a huge insult to injury). We dont know what this version of the Justice League went through and endured. We don't know anything about Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, or Superman. All we know is that they're brainwashed by Brainiac and crazy. So when they die, why is the player supposed to care? We dont know anything about them. We never built a connection to these versions of the characters besides Arkham Batman.

Yeah I agree on the topic of no care for the visually impaired. I also hear that get a bigger TV and better glasses too often, my issues can’t be solved by either. I have a cataract in my left eye and advanced keratoconus in the other. Say what you will about Naughty Dog and Insomniac but at least there’s an effort to make sure as many people as possible can play. The entire industry should be following those standards by now. Not just for visually impaired but anyone with any disability should be accounted for in some way, it’s 2024 for crying out loud.

If not for your commentary, this game would be unbearable. It is top teir comedy!
