Tantrum aside, I actually find the character dynamic between Luthor and Waller quite interesting. In a sense they are equals and he’s just out of her reach of control and she can’t stand it, and he knows it. I never really thought about how they’d interact.

I've heard "my girl" used platonically before. The few scenes we had of them interact in the Arkham games implied a friendship pre Arkham Asylum, so that's what I expected here. A friendship. Calling her "BABE" though? In this context??? Ugh... I can admit when I'm wrong... Not buying this game.

The story of this game was probably my biggest let down in a video game story in several years. I didn’t expect the story to be amazing but I expected it to be a better than what it is. I will probably still play it for gameplay because personally it looks fun to me but I’m going to skip cutscenes pretty much the whole time. And I will still watch it here because you guys make it entertaining

The only time I remember Harley and Ivy being friends or “besties” in the Arkham games is their cutscene in Asylum and the knight DLC where you fought nightwing

I actually wanted to throw up during the Poison Ivy part since it is very sick, wrong, creepy, and disgusting to see Harley Quinn flirt with a kid Poison Ivy. Harley calling Ivy by ‘Babe’ or ‘My Little Girl’ is both disturbing and creepy. Harley and Ivy never had a relationship within the Arkhamverse.

Also the only time I remember Harley interacting with Ivy in the Arkham games was when Harley let Ivy out of her cell in Batman: Arkham Asylum and the Harley dlc in Arkham Knight.

Thank you for the video, Luke. I agree with you 100%. That whole thing with Harley calling a child "babe" is so disgusting. Sweet Baby is killing gaming. They did it with The Last Of Us Part II, with Spider-Man 2, and now they took one of my favorite DC villainesses and turned her into a pedo. I know that the real Arkham Harley would most likely kick the living daylights out of this Harley. The only character I found interesting is King Shark (mainly because he is voiced by the wrestler Samoa Joe). I know him from his appearance on The Flash (albeit a different version of the character named Shay Lamden and not Nanaue). I am a massive DC fan, but what they did is a lowblow to all of us DC fans. Whoever did the writing obviously has not done their research because the Squad I see in the comics is leagues better than this one, and how Batman got taken out is a complete disrespect to Kevin Conroy (I know he agreed to do it, but the way he got taken out makes me sick).

Well on the subject of writing in games... have you considered playing computer games? They still get some good stories here and there. One relativly recent one I can think of is 'Beyond The Edge Of Owlsgard'.

I think Sweet Baby incorporated should be banned from ever making games again this games writing is just terrible and gives me a headache and I don’t like how they are forcing this game to be connected to Arkham somehow cause there is no way on earth that this game is remotely canon to Arkham cause none of these characters act how they would act in the Arkham games and these map jokes are just down right disgusting and despicable and I have no idea why or how someone with common sense or at least a brain would let this type of garbage get into a game like this and cause of that and how terrible the writing is and how eh the story is I will not buy this game not even if someone paid me $1,000,000 to do so I still wouldn’t do it cause this game is terrible ,and said this before and I’ll say it again the Arkham games ended with Arkham Knight and Arkham Knight was a great send off for Kevin Conroy’s Batman but now if they were going to release the Batman beyond game instead of this garbage that would be a different story but they didn’t and that to me was a mistake
