I feel crazy for thinking "Why does Pokemon Suika not have Suicune" and seeing NOBODY mention it.

They probably won't read this comment, but the reason Gengar felt "weaker" for Jo is because Gastly and Haunter have the ability levitate, which makes them immune to ground attacks. In earlier generations, Gengar also had the ability levitate, but to nerf him they changed it for the ability Cursed Body, which allowed him to be hit by ground types unlike his pre-evolutions.

37:14 turns out that it didn’t fuse 3 mawiles at once, but rather the middle mawile somehow fused with both mawiles next to it, resulting in 3 mawiles fusing into 2 doublades which fused into 1 rotom

But considering how fast it was put together, it's impressive it works still. I assume the Pokemon choices were just all their favorites... plus God. Surprised the last one wasn't Snorlax with a Watermelon coloring, though. Also not surprised yesterday exploded. Glad I kept myself... more or less neutral.

Somebody needs to make Suika squares. it's a Suika like, but there all squares. It would be really easy, but it would be fun to watch them all line up.

This game has what I call "Sakuraism": it's a concept that got executed and set in motion, doing mostly what it's supposed to. But balance be damned, my child is perfect as it is and tweaking it will ruin my vision.

I wonder how long until one of the Suika-clones does something such as animated drops, so they crawl around or climb things to some extent on their own. (And mix it up by how fast they move or what other things they can get traction upon.) Now that would add something more unique than just shapes to this meta. I suspect that could be an interesting or cool mechanic not seen with the original.

37:13 The second time it's happened and they still didn't notice lmao. In the other one I kinda wrote it off as they had just started playing that one and didn't really know the wheel, but this is almost 40 minutes into this thing- When three of the same thing fuse it turns into the one after what it would regularly turn into. So here when the three Mawiles fused instead of turning into Doublade like Mawile usually does, it turned into Rotom Mow. So while you think you're being scammed and its just taking your mon you are infact scamming the game and using one less mon to get there. I doubt you'll see this, but if you do I hope this helps make suika month more productive 👍

Regardless of how you feel about BOTW, I do think it’s just incorrect to say it wouldn’t have happened without Skyrim. Maybe it wouldve been a bit different, but ultimately the goal of BOTW was to capture the freedom of exploration of the original Zelda (or something like that, according to devs). Whether or not Skyrim had preceded it, I think a massive open world was the natural solution to fill that design goal.

imagine if this game gave you the option to use all pokemon sprites and the evolution order is just determined by some kind of value (like hp of something like that). like it picks random pokemon, or maybe even lets you pick some and then sets the evolution going from the lowest to highest value in the picked pokemon.
