Deep inside my mind I wish that they have a Unite Magic for Bright Shield and Black Sword Runes like Twilight and Dawn Runes on Suikoden 5....

Yeah, guess this game is one of those rare collectors' items. But it turned out that a friend of mine had this one in her pile of old video games. Always choose your friends wisely ;D

Damn, those united runes are pretty devastating, they wipe the enemy (ies) out, those were more Dr. Manhattan-like attack. I think I made a couple of them before, and I think they work if one character has both runes too. Nice animations. A great game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the combinations seem to work by elements. First: Wind + Water Second: Wind + Earth Third: Water + Electricity Fourth: Electricity + Fire Fifth: Fire + Earth The strongest attack of each element is able to form a unite with each other. Am I right?

even if you have 100 characters recruited in suikoden 1 you can get McDohl but his name will be different like AcDohl or TcDohl or sth. else

Ok everyone is rooting for the Black Sword Rune and the Bright Shield Rune magic unison but I'm more curious as to what will happen if you unite Darkness Rune with Blue Gate rune.

Suikoden: 1, 2 and 5 are the only note worthy ones in the series. ALL OTHERS ARE ILL THOUGHT OUT GARBAGE.

Catalyst Drive 3 > 5 on story, lore, and bravesome experiment on combat. Rune animation on 5 is so fucking crappy, both unite attack are also crap... basically just replay the 2nd one over and over til konami or other responsive dev give a shot to remake the suikoden as a whole perfect rpg
