The information in this video may not be 100% accurate as this story was a complete and utter mess to put together. All of the information about the games story in this video has been sourced and translated from multiple people in the Japanese Suikoden fandom on social media and blogging sites. The posts are largely the thoughts, memories, ramblings and notes of the game from Japanese players years after the game released.
I had to compare every message and every post and piece them all together using information that matched up within them. Then I had to further piece that information together with the small amount of character information on the wiki's. I verified that character information from multiple sources and then uncovered and verified the plot of each of the chapters in the game from multiple sources.
I matched up and pieced together what I could, but some of the finer details have very likely been lost in translation.
As such, it may not be entirely 100% accurate, but it should be fairly accurate.
Stardust Castle was a visual novel spinoff that served as a prequel to Suikoden Tierkreis that released for mobile phones in Japan in 2008. It never saw release outside of Japan, and was removed from sale in 2016 with all mentions of it deleted form Konami's website. The game went largely unnoticed by the Japanese fandom due to the obscure nature of its release. I had to deep dive through Japanese social media and blogs to pluck little bits here and there to piece the story of the game together.
