imo when writers are put on a schedule their writing suffers (why usually the 1st season is unique in any show then it either starts getting generic or stupid), if they stick to 12 per year i can see it doing 6-7 seasons but any more and it'll be counter productive as the actors get type casted.

Let's see... with Mike, they have worked closely professionally and personally together since he got into the firm, a complicated history of attraction, and the same penchant for focusing on details and playing fair. With Louis, aside from working on the same firm, she has almost nothing similar with him and they barely interacted with each other in any episode since the start of the show (bar S01EP09).

You didn't watch the episode (his cat died), then they worked together, he gave her a big chance, trusted her and they both love the ballet? If this would have been Mike and likewise all fans would say "oh they are such an interesting couple". Guilty of subjective judgment I would say ;) "[...] focusing on details, playing fair" that's not what I call a complicated attraction but boring attraction. Sounds like dudes not lovers.
