Topic diverted .. as per title.. discussion should be ..after getting govt job which job is better private or govt. He should take on average case but not only junior assistant case. He is comparing best private job(IT), with least govt job(JA). When you compare two sectors you should consider not only money and also health, work life balance, duration service he /she survive in that job. In private even though you are home you will think about job so you are working 24/7. But not that case in most of govt jobs except revenue department. In govt work is static but not the case in private(IT). Getting govt job is very very difficult if you are general category person. So there are so many cases to consider when comparing to sectors.
